Jan Thiel/Brakkeput Abou is a large area in Banda Riba. It includes residential areas and resorts such as Brakkeput Abou where La Maya Beach Resort is located. This apartment has spectacular views of the Spanish Water Lagoon, the Tafelberg and the Caribbean Sea. You will find several marinas and other amenities as well as popular beaches (Zanzibar), shops and restaurants in this area. The Spanish Water Lagoon is great for water sports such as sailing, windsurfing and water skiing/wake boarding. It is a 20 minute drive from Jan Thiel/Brakkeput Abou to downtown Willemstad.

About the owner: Angela is a Psychologist and Life/business Coach while her husband Rael is a Resort Manager. We understand people's need for comfort, hospitality and efficient and friendly service. We spend a lot of time overseas and love travelling. As we work in the tourism industry (e.g. resorts) we understand the hospitality business and we do our best for our guests. The property is professionally managed by La Maya Beach Resort's onsite management couple (Annemarie and Marcel), but we are also involved throughout to assure quality and to make sure our guests have a comfortable stay.
