We were in transition between the sale of our old home and the purchase of a new one and spent six weeks in the "Treehouse". It was a wonderful experience ; feeding the squirrels, watching a huge flock of Great Blue Herons every morning at low tide, seeing an owl perched on the fence below and generally enjoying life in the forest. The house is well appointed and one need bring nothing apart from food. There is a garden with a variety of veggies and which are available to renters and we enjoyed swiss chard, leeks and rhubarb and there was a very promising strawberry patch; alas, too early in the season for us. Me and three of my friends came here to celebrate Valentine's Day weekend together and it was incredible! One of the best weekends by far! Very cute and luxurious. The heated floors were amazing, fireplace was cozy, great usable kitchen, comfy bed and the second couch/bed was also good! The team room was a dream, it was overall a great experience and I hope to come back somedayRecommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

This is an amazing place. Well thought out design to make a short or long stay comfortable and relaxing. We used this as home base as we explored Whatcom county, and it worked out perfectly. We extended our stay, as we couldn't face leaving. Hope to return!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We loved staying at the tree house. My husband and I had such a relaxing weekend. Walked downed to the beach and it was really nice, had just had a rain storn with some clearing and saw a beatiful double rainbow in the sky and over the water ! We loved the steam shower very nice and relaxing :) We will definately go again. Oh yes and the the casino Silver Reef was 5 miles from place and they have really good food . I would totally recommend this to friends & family!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We had a truly memorable experience at the Treehouse! It was wonderfully private, very well appointed and furnished, comfortable and trule value for money. We stayed 4 nights and would have stayed longer had it been available. Don Weber called us on the day we were to arrive and left instructions and we found it with no problem, let ourselves in and sat on the balcony and enjoyed the sunset with a glass of wine. We were stocked with groceries from Trader Joes (this is mandatory!) but there are some good restaurants in Bellingham as well. We especially enjoyed the steam room and the heated floors. The sheets are very fine hotel quality as well, the wi fi works...(this isn't always the case where its promised!) We are delighted that we found the Treehouse, and will be going back when we can.
