    This apartment was the perfect choice for us. Here's why: 1) Location. Located in the heart of the Jordaan, one of the best districts of Amsterdam. In fact, if you check Trip Advisor for the best things to see in Amsterdam 3 of the top 6 are within a few blocks - the Jordaan, Prinsengracht and the Anne Frank House. It's 2 minutes from city wide transit connections and 7 minutes from Dam square at the heart of Amsterdam (but the dam square area is less desirable to stay). You can see the classic West Kerk church from the bedroom window, and even hear the carillon bells. We loved the charming "De Negen Straatjes" which are very close by as are many brilliant restaurants. 2) Apartment. Completely remodeled and very comfortable, complete with all the amenities except a washer / dryer. It is small but we heard from a long time resident that almost all apartments are small and that this one is quite "posh" by local standards. 3) Owner. Easy to work with, very helpful, honest, friendly, etc. In short, we will definitely come back and highly recommend it.

    This nice and fresh apartment is situated just 10 minutes walk from the Dam Square, and is as close to the best part of Amsterdam, the Jordan district. The description fitted perfectly, and it looked as nice as in the photos. We never met the host, but his son was there to open for us, and he was a really nice and helpful guy. Everything is new and fresh in the apartment. The free wi-fi works ok in the middle of the apartment, but has its blank spots in the bedroom. The apartment is on the 4th (top) floor, and is reached via a narrow staircase with 63 steep stairs. Do not bring too heavy and big luggage, and be sure that your knees and calves are in order. Only 200 m from the apartment is a big Albert Hejn Supermarket, and on the street outside (Westermarkt) you can take several lines of tram. We really recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Amsterdam!

    Hemos pasado una semana fantástica en Amsterdam.Somos una familia española con dos niñios de 9 y 11 años de edad, el apartamento es perfecto, precioso muy cómodo, amplio y limpio, la cocina está totalmente equipada lo que nos ha permitido desayunar y cenar en él. El emplazamiento es ideal, está cerca de todo por lo que no hemos tenido que coger ningun medio de transporte para movernos por la ciudad hemos ido a todas partes andando. La zona es muy tranquila y al mismo tiempo cénrtica, con restaurantes, tiendas, supermercado, parada de taxis... muy recomendable, es tal como aparece en la fotografia. Los dueños muy amables y serviciales.

    L'appartement est très bien situé (Transports et commerces à proximité) Le supermarché de Elandgracht ferme à 22h. L'immeuble ancien est très beau et l'appartement refait à neuf est très confortable et moderne. Tout est impeccable. Vous serez bien accueilli par le propriétaire qui parle français. La rue est calme tout en étant dans ce quartier animé avec toutes ses jolies petites boutiques et cafés le long des canaux. Nous avons passé un séjour idéal, c'est pourquoi nous vous recommandons cet appartement.

    For the single-week stay in Amsterdam with a four-headed family the apartment was not too small but fine. The division of the apartment with a sleep area divided off by a door is very advisable. It is renovated and established modernly with everything one needs for everyday life. The apartment is very bright particularly by the blanket windows. It offers a nice view over the roofs of Amsterdam. The location of the apartment is excellently central in Amsterdam near the prince canal with a very good purchase possibility and tram connection. The lessor is nice and polite. The carrying out of the payment was uncomplicated. Before the journey we had got some tips of him for the Amsterdam stay. We would like to recommend this apartment absolutely.

    L'appartamento è molto bello. Arredato in stile moderno, con mobili nuovi e molto curati. Estramemente pulito e ben organizzato. La zona è bellissima. In 5 minuti a piedi si piò raggiungere pizza DAm e molte area dishopping, ristoranti. Zona molto suggestiva con i canali. Super consigliato per un soggiorno ad Amsterdam.

    Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans ce magnifique appartement. Il est idéalement bien situé. Très proche des commerces et de la Westermarkt (musée Anne Frank à 10 min.). Très propre et très cosy ... le bouquet de tulipes nous a été gracieusement offert en guise de bienvenue par le propriétaire des lieux. MERCI à Michiel pour toutes ses informations données lors de notre arrivées. La cuisine est très bien équipée: machine à café, toaster, bouilloire, 4 plaques de cuisson à gaz, machine à laver la vaisselle, etc ... La literie est très confortable. Cet appartement est situé au 4e étage sans ascenseur. Pour notre part cela ne nous a pas posé de problème (tous les appartements à Amsterdam n'ont généralement pas d'ascenseur)

    The best quality/price place you can get in Amsterdam ! Believe, I've checked them all. You'll be staying in a beautiful restored historic building. Close to everything. And a quiet place to stay. Fully equipped kitchen and 3 blocks away from supermarkets. Very clean appartment as well. Floris is a nice and a very accommodating person. He even took some time for a quick Dutch lesson ;-) Yes, the stairs were steep but hey, most places in old Amsterdam are like this one. In fact, we were please since we had some weight to loose ;-) Thanks again ! Hope to see you soon. Mario & Annik

    A very nice appartment in an excellent location. The appartment was very fresh and clean with a spacious feel. We found it to be very well equipped for cooking meals when we decided not to eat out and it is only 3 streets away from the local supermarket. Michiel was excellent to deal with and provided us with clear instructions and information on how to get there and was very friendly and easy to deal with. He was also very prompt in meeting us when we arrived at the apartment to collect they keys. The stairs were relatively steep but most places in Amsterdam are like this and unless you generally have problems with stairs this should not be an issue. All round a very nice place to stay and we did not have any problems at all. Perfect for a stay in Amsterdam!

    very cozy apartment, well-furnished, close to everything you may need during your holiday! very kind and helpful owner as well! The only glitch are the stairs, not recommended to lazy people.

    We had a very pleasant stay in this nice apartment recently renewed and finely Ikea-furnished. The location is perfect for visiting the city both by day and by night and the flat is really comfortable, even if you travel with your kids. Not suggested if you have problems climbing the stairs up to the 4th floor, but for us it was a good fitness exercise... Thanks to Floris for his hospitality.

    Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.
