This three-bedroom, two-bathroom Craftsman Bungalow is on a wonderful tree-lined street in the Montlake neighborhood of Seattle just a few blocks from the University of Washington, Burke Gilman Trail for walking and biking, UW Waterfront Activities Center with canoe and rowboat rentals, restaurants, grocery stores, multiple parks including the Washington Park Arboretum, and bike rental. Also close by is the University Village Mall, a very hip outdoor shopping center with lots more restaurants. You can pick up bus #25 or #43 to downtown Seattle from the stop just a few short blocks from the house.
The home is ideal for travelling groups or families. Its main floor features one bedroom and bathroom as well as large living spaces with plenty of elbow room for your large travelling group. Sleeper sofa in living room sleeps two people. Upstairs is the master suite with its own bathroom and a sitting room that can act as another sleeping space with either a portable crib or queen-size air mattress.
Downstairs is a third bedroom and laundry room. From the living room step out the French doors onto the large, entertaining-size deck that overlooks the trees of Interlaken Park. Relax on a sunny day lounging on the patio furniture, or curl up in the living room on a rainy day and look out over the lovely view.
All the comforts of home provided here make for a relaxing home base and a warm haven after a day of visiting the tourist attractions.
