1 bedroom ranch house on 4 acres just 1 mile from Downtown Bandera and Medina River, 1/2 mile from Guest Ranch with Waterpark and Golf Course, and 7 miles from Hill Country Natural Area for biking, hiking and equestrian activities. This sweet casa is a great escape from it all.
Outdoor decks let you take in the hill country's essence. Hang out and grill with hammock and lounge chairs area after a day roaming the area.
House is recently remodeled with western/spanish casa flavor indoors and the exterior remains true to its original style. There is one master bedroom with a handmade cedar king size bed and full size bathroom. Another full bath is located off the living area. A huge Texas fireplace is a great place to enjoy during winter or deer season months.
The kitchen adjoins the living room, making this an easy place to socialize and enjoy time with family and friends. The kitchen is equipped with microwave, stove, fridge and oven.

In consideration of the monies received and mutual promises contained herein, the Owner of the subject property does hereby lease and rent to Tenant the certain property described herein and under the following terms and conditions. Unit information, rental rate and other financial data are set forth in this lease. This vacation rental agreement must be signed prior to check-in. CANCELLATIONS/ TRANSFERS Cancellations must be received in writing or by calling 512-913-9355. Cancellations made 5 days or more prior to arrival date will receive a full refund minus $50 booking fee. CHECK-IN/ CHECK-OUT Check-in is typically at 3:00 p.m. and check-out at 11:00 a.m. The Owner will make exceptions from time to time with prior approval. Please call 512-913-9355 to arrange. FURNISHINGS PROVIDED Towels, linens, soaps and an ample supply of paper goods and trash bags will be provided. The kitchen has cookware, plates, cups, glasses, utensils, etc. The refrigerator may be used, just be sure to throw out your items when finished. CARE OF PROPERTY Tenant is expected to care for the property as if it was his or her own. Tenant must notify Owner on day of check-in of any damage or cleaning concerns. Any damage done by Tenant must be disclosed to Owner either in person or by phone (512-913-9355) at check-out and payment arrangements made. When checking out please take all trash to trashcans in laundry room, close all windows and lock all doors. The key should be placed on bar in kitchen. Please then exit through laundry room and lock external door handle behind you when leaving. IN THE EVENT In the event Owner is unable to deliver said property to Tenant under this lease agreement prior to occupancy due to fire, eminent domain, act of nature, or any other reason, Tenant hereby agrees that Owner’s sole liability as a result of these conditions is a full refund of all consideration previously tendered by Tenant. Pursuant to terms of this lease, Tenant expressly acknowledges that in no event shall Owner be held liable for any consequential or secondary damages including but not limited to any expenses incurred as a result of event. LOST, STOLEN OR ABANDONED ITEMS Owner is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or abandoned items. There will be a shipping charge for items returned by a shipping service if necessary. About the owner: A Texan since the early 50's, the owner of this property has always loved the Texas Hill Country. A University of Texas graduate and long time Austinite, Bandera has always been a second home to this family.
Why the Owner Chose Bandera:
Since frequenting Bandera since the 50's, this property was the second piece of land purchased by the family. The first was on Bandera Creek, a few short miles from the house. Having never built on the creek property, it was sold in the 80's. Now retired, the current home is used part time as a get away for family and friends. In true Hill Country charm and Bandera style, it's the perfect location for everyone to unwind, bike, and play in the Texas Hill Country.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This property is a perfect location for this outdoor family. They love to pop over to the Flying L WaterPark and Golf Course (just a couple minutes away). Riding horses at Hill Country Natural area or enjoying trail run and mountain bike events there are also annual events for them. And with so many great Hill Country roads and cycling events, the house is a great hub for cycling enthusiasts. Of course, morning java at Dog Leg Cafe, an omelet at the OST, or brisket at Busby's is always looked forward to as well!
