Perfectly located on the Inter-Coastal Waterway in the heart of the Lowcountry. This PRIVATE, gated community is a quarter mile from the bridge onto Hilton Head Island which offers fabulous restaurants, shopping and activities. Enter the plantation through a beautiful grove of pecan trees planted in 1920, drive past an equestrian center, moss covered live oaks, and various lagoons and marshes. Once inside you can enjoy 36 holes of Fazio-designed golf, seven all-weather Har-Tru tennis courts, equestrian center, fitness center, miles of bicycle and forest trails, two swimming pools (one marsh and marina front), breathtaking salt marsh views, 36-acre Blue Heron Sanctuary, 11-acre Fording Island Nature Preserve, fishing, and marina all without leaving Moss Creek Plantation. Moss Creek is comparable to the on-island Hilton Plantation and off-island Rose Hill Plantation. Moss Creek offers similar amenities to the on-island Long Cove Plantation. The house is located on Night Heron Pond with the corner of the backyard providing a lowcountry view to Henri’s Pond out the intercoastal waterway to islands in the distance. Experience Mother Nature from the backyard and within the house viewing the Herons and Egrets that nest around the pond. The front has a view across Toppin Drive to the 16th Tee Box on North Course. Bostwick Pavilion, Swimming Pool and Marina are a short walk away. The setting is beautiful! All primary living is on the first floor including the Living Room with a sleeper sofa, Dining Area, Kitchen, Master Bedroom with private bathroom, Laundry Room and a 1/2 bathroom. The 2nd floor has 2 bedrooms, loft area with a day bed and a full bathroom. The rental will include men’s and women’s golf clubs, bicycles, beach supplies, Wi-Fi access and games. The following are the policies: no pets, maximum 7 people and absolutely no indoor smoking. We also ask that all sports equipment and bikes be left in the Laundry Room upon leaving. Rentals of 1 month or longer are preferred from September to May. Please be aware that there is no garage and Moss Creek Plantation has a rule that trucks and motorcycles are not allowed on the plantation between 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM unless garaged.
June - Aug: $750/ wk Sept - May: $1,750/mo All rentals incur a $150 cleaning
charge. 50% of rent due with expected lease. Balance due 14 days before check in.
$500 security deposit due 14 days before check in. Security deposit returned
pending inspection. Please email to check availability. Add 11% SC tax to all
rates. If canceled: prior to 90 days before first day of rental: 100% refund of
rental payment and security deposit, between 90 and 30 days = 50% refund of
rental payment and security deposit, less than 30 days = forfeiture of rental
payment and security deposit. Bank check preferred.
