* Say "Hawaii" and alluring Waikiki immediately comes to mind. Here is where you will find Diamond Head, so dubbed by 19th-century British sailors who found calcite crystals in its crater and mistook them for diamonds.
* From our beach you can walk along the waters of Waikiki Beach all the way to the Honolulu Zoo, Kapiolani Park and Band Stand, the Aquarium, and hike up to Diamond Head.
* Waikiki Beach with its golden stretch of sand is superb for sunning, swimming, and surfing.
* Kapiolani Park, a 200-acre swath of green that King Kalakaua named after his beloved wife and gifted to his people, has tennis courts and a bandstand where you can watch Hula and listen to music.
* For you golfers, Ala Wai Golf Course is only a few blocks from the Waikiki Shore.
