I have stayed here several times and enjoyed it each time whether I choose to dive, snorkel, fish, kayak, walk or relax. It is spacious and clean. Furniture is comfortable, linens are crisp and plentiful. The kitchen is well stocked with quality dishware for cooking the fish caught that day, sometimes even with a line in the canal and other times from a fishing boat I've rented. You can go quickly to the Gulf or the Atlantic from this site. It's a very private place due to location. Road is quiet, too, for walking. Lovely decks for sitting out to catch the sun at different times of day. Great deal for the price. Will come again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I have stayed at this property many times. There are boat and Kayak rentals minutes away. The Ocean and Gulf are out the front door. The deep, clear tidal canal has yielded lobster and fish for dinner 30 feet from the front door. The Gulf of Mexicao and all of its Islands and spendor and sunset are 50 feet out the door. If you can't relax and forget about the stress of everday life at this property, you need a therapist, not a vacation. Dinner in Key West is 17 miles away.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stay for a month every year. It feels like a second home. It is very casual and relaxed. Amazing sunrise's, and you can sit on the corner of the canal and drink your coffe in the morning and wish a few local fisherman luck as they come through on their way out to the ocean. You can also watch the sunrise from the screened in porch. And it has a great little patio for evening coctails and/or a BBQ. A great restaurant and tiki bar just a mile down the road where you will meet up with lot's of colorful local's. Also available at the Marina next door to the tiki bar...Kayaks for rent. And what a great area for kayaking. The caretakers are a terrific source of local knowledge for both entertainment and fishing. Great area for early morning walks or bike rides. For the price it can not be beat. 20 minutes from Key West.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
