Imagine escaping from the real world for a while, and come enjoy one of our newly built Tipis! Everyone is talking about luxurious camping in a Tipi! There are 4 in all surrounding a stock tank located on 4 acres (Geronimo Creek Retreat) that borders the beautiful spring-fed Geronimo Creek. The Tipis look traditional from the outside but inside they are fully furnished and cozy with all modern conveniences including air conditioning, satellite TV, kitchenette with sink, under-counter refrigerator, stovetop and extra-large toaster oven. Each Tipi comes with its own private bathroom with a vanity, commode and large walk-in tiled shower.
Geronimo Creek Retreat is an oasis of peace and fun nestled in the pecan trees overlooking the babbling creek in the heart of nature and on the edge of Texas Hill Country. Do you long to swim and fish in the creek like you were a kid again? Want to throw some horseshoes or drink a cold one while you chill out in a lawn chair enjoying the feel of warm Texas sunshine on your face? Envision your own cozy Tipi with plush furniture, fully equipped kitchenette, private bathroom and gorgeous view. In addition, you have your own barbeque pit for grilling, picnic table and fire pit for chatting or relaxing with your friends and family. Bring the marshmallows!
The Retreat also has a community gameroom with big screen TV, workout equipment and pingpong table. There is a large, covered area with picnic tables and a community hot tub for your group to gather. The creek has excellent fishing, and there is a dock with kayaks and a small fishing boat for your use. We also keep tubes, fishing poles, lawn and lounge chairs, noodles and lifejackets for your convenience.
The Property is located on the north outskirts of Seguin, Texas and the Geronimo Creek Retreat is only a stone’s throw from all of Seguin’s conveniences. But you will feel like you have entered the proverbial “Middle of Nowhere”. Can you believe New Braunfels is only 14 miles away and the Outlet Malls of San Marcos are just 12 miles down the road? The quaint restaurants and nightlife of Gruene are a direct 15 minutes away, and San Antonio and Austin are 40 and 50 miles away, respectively.
Each Tipi is spacious enough for up to six people to hang out inside comfortably. Each Tipi has a kitchenette, two queen size beds and a queen sized pullout couch. You can rent one Tipi for $195, plus cleaning and taxes. The Retreat is also located next door to a historic nine pin bowling alley. For larger groups or family reunions the bowling alley is available for rent on Friday and Saturday nights bring your friends and family for an unforgettable experience!

for my bachelor camping trip, four of us fit nicely into a tipi. these tipis are air conditioned and come with tv, dvd player, beds, sheets, pots, pans, flat wear, plates, mugs, etc. it's more of a retreat than camping. the tipi was clean, well maintained. The bathrooms, which are 15 yards away in a separate building appear to be brand new, as of Oct 2012.
