  My stay at the Serenity Cottage was absolutely wonderful. Kimberly Parker was very social, warm and welcoming. She made our experience at the Cabin memorable. I would stay again, and hope to soon.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  From the moment I inquired about this rental to the moment we left-it was a delightful experience. Kimberly made us feel wanted and welcome! She is awesome. We stepped into the house and loved it! The cleanest house I have ever rented. A wonderful layout and everything first class. We were truly able to have a relaxing, fun, girls weekend. Everything was perfect! Thanks so much!

  The beach house is adorable and in a great location. The property manager was extremely helpful and easy to contact. We stayed at Crystal Beach to be near High Island for birding. It was a perfect location and we had an awesome time.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  nice property, but she charged us $100 for our dogs who did no damage to her property

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

  Owner response: Oh Virginia Im so sorry you are disappointed in the pet fee, it was clearly stated in the lease agreement that it was a pet fee and not a pet deposit. We appreciate the fact that your pets were good but I had hoped that since we gave you $200 off your special weekend it would have been a better experience. I hope you promptly recieved your damage deposit back and that we see you guys again sometime for another stay. Thanks again for choosing Serenity Cottage in the Dunes!

  Thanks for giving me a place to come and decompress after such a long first semester back with the kids. This place is great- even it it was 40 degrees most of my stay. The house was a welcoming spot after a walk on the beach. I hope to come back soon- when its warmer lol Andi

  This house is perfect for a weekend away from the busy life. The decor of the house is perfect for a beach weekend and the pictures don't do it justice. We fell in love with the view of the ocean and with the cool cozy beds. I'm not one easy to relax and this house made me leave my worries and even my phone behind. I also can't say enough about the house manager. They were so nice and even had a little gift waiting for us upon arrival. It's these special touches that won us over. We can't wait to go back

  Love the cottage, the neighborhood is so peaceful. The only suggestion I have is an internet connection! (WE HAVE INTERNET NOW BTW LOL) It was so relaxing and peaceful. Perfect name! If you dont like frogs be careful at night they love the downstairs area!

  Awesome! Fabulous! Fantastic! and Great! Your house is beautiful and your style is so cool! We enjoyed the beach, made tracks on the golf cart, watched frogs eat bugs at night, had a yummy dinner at the Tiki Bar, saw people catch fishand crabs on the beach, got tons of shells, had lots of laughs and made great memories! Thank you for your hospitality!
