Year Purchased: 2008
About: We have vacationed in Nokomis for several years prior to purchasing our own home in this tropical paradise. We have several friends that live in the area and we get together several times a year to enjoy the peacefulness of Nokomis.
Why Nokomis: We love that Nokomis and Casey key are not over built with condos and highrises on the beach. There are several 1950's motels on the key that are still operating today that remind us of what Florida used to be. Other beach communities are over built and are congested with traffic .
The Unique Benefits at this House: If you are like us, we prefer to drive as little as possible when we go to the beach. All you need to do is stock up on food and supplies on your way in and walk to the beach, ride your bikes, run on Casey Key or just relax with a glass of wine and watch the beautiful sunsets.
