What a wonderful house with incredible views from the kitchen, living room, and master bedroom! All our family members that came by to see the house couldn't stop complimenting us on finding such great place! The home was very clean and simply decorated - not too much clutter and it was well-equipped with everything you would need. The neighborhood was very quiet and lovely for strolling, but be prepared for hills! We were so close to everything - Sausalito, Tiburon, and our family in San Francisco was just 8 miles away :) Next time, we'll bring our bikes so we can go on the nearby bike trail that goes from Tiburon to downtown S.F. Looking forward to staying here again and seeing the sunrise!

Manager response: Dear Julie, I appreciate the wonderful review of our property. It is very gratifying to hear that you and your party were very satisfied with the home and that you enjoyed your stay. For your next visit, plan to stay during full moon to experience the spectacular view of the moon reflections on Richardson Bay. It is my favorite. I look forward to hosting you again!
My husband and I stayed at this property for three months while waiting to move into our new home and it could not have been more lovely, well equipped and fresh, with views to die for. Our host, Ruby, was as welcoming and helpful as she could possibly be. And the proximity to both San Francisco and some of the world's most beautiful hiking trails makes it an ideal location. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Manager response: It was my pleasure hosting you Barbara and Hugh. I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay in our property. Thank you for taking good care of the house.
The most striking thing about the house is the view. It's great and constantly changing with the weather. The house is comfortable and communal with the open floor plan of kitchen, dining area, living area. It has all the features to make daily life easy. Mill Valley is really special. It has a small town feel with a huge amount of parkland nearby especially Mt Tam. There's lots to do close by since the house is between Sausalito and Mill Valley, parking in Sausalito it difficult. I recommend parking a distance from Bridgeway and walking a little extra. Not to leave out San Francisco about twenty minutes away across the Golden Gate Bridge. Recommended!

Year Purchased: 2006
About: We moved to Mill Valley in 1998. We love the area so much that we owned properties within a 2 mile radius of our current location. We started with a 1BD/1BA condo, located across the bay from this house. In 2001, we upgraded to a single family home with lots of trees in the backyard. In 2006, we purchased this property which is our favorite so far and would like to share our home as your base for exploring the Bay area.
Why Mill Valley:
We love the panoramic view of the bay, which extends all the way to the East Bay on a clear day. The reflection of the moon on the water is such a spectacular sight. The house is the right size for us and the location is awesome.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Easy access to Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, Tennessee Valley Trail head, Sausalito, Tiburon, Angel Island, Muir Woods, Stinson Beach, Mt. Tamalpais, Point Reyes National Sea Shore, Napa, Sonoma. Mill Valley is only a 2-1/2 hour day trip to Monterrey & Carmel and 4 hours to spectacular Lake Tahoe or Yosemite National Park.
