  The pictures accurately show the apartment - It is a studio with a bedroom off to the side. The balcony is great with nice views of the old city, and perfect for morning and evening meals. Alessandro was quick to respond to emails and phone calls, even checking up with us during our stay to ensure our comfort. He gave excellent recommendations of things to do in the city and areas to explore. The apartment is within walking distance to most attractions, supermarkets, and very convenient to the train station. The apartment contained everything we needed and was very well stocked with some basic food preparations, laundry facilities, and bathroom needs. This apartment may be a little tight for 4 adults, but for a couple or a small family it should be just right. I look forward to being in Bologna and at Skyline again in the near future.

  This is a great apartment! We stayed for a week and had a wonderful time. The apartment is outfitted with everything one could need, and it is extremely clean and well situated to central historic Bologna. Alessandro is one of the best "landlords" we have had in our travels in Europe - very helpful and informative right from the start. Loved the welcome gifts! All the pictures are accurate, and as noted from previous tenants, the terrace is a real bonus, even when it is cold. If we ever have the chance to come back to Bologna, we would definitely stay here again.

  We enjoyed a beautiful stay in an excellently equipped centrally located apartment (10 minutes walking distance from the central station and 5 minutes from the main bus station). You find all things in the appartment necessary for daily life. The owner was very supportive providing any information on local circumstances we needed. We would come back undoubtfully when being in town again. Thank you, Alessandro!

  My husband and I arrived in Bologna and were warmly welcomed by the hosts. The apartment had everything we needed, including guide books, maps, a fully stocked kitchen, linens, comfy bed, hot shower. Everything was clean, fresh, and in good working order. We loved the extra touches such as the art on the walls, DVDs to watch, and tea/coffee for the morning. It was winter so we didn't get to use the huge balcony, unfortunately, but it looked wonderful. The central location was convenient because it was close to downtown, the university, bus station, train station, two grocery stores, and the Fair District. We could walk to Piazza Maggiore in less than a half hour, easily. We stayed a month and were sad to leave Skyline.

  My husband and I very much enjoyed our 11-day stay in Bologna Skyline—a cheery and comfortable place that lived up to both the owner’s online description and the posted comments—and compliments--from people who had stayed there before us. The location really is great, the views really are sweeping, and the large terrace, even in November, was a welcome feature.   I go to Bologna often and I should say this is truly a very nice apartment. Its central location makes it ideal. Most attractions are just a walk away with the station just 5 minutes. As you are high up you feel in another world. The terrace is perfect for dining and the view is astonishing. Your kind host supplies you with lots of information on Bologna. Free garage, wifi, very good price.

  I had a delightful stay at the flat and it was perfectly situated for my needs. I was in town for business at the Bologna Fiere and was able to walk to the grounds safely and quickly (under 15min). Alessandro and his wife were amazingly kind and accommodating- even going so far as to drop off a personal wifi usb when the apartment's internet went down for building services. The apartment is clean and well appointed with everything I could need or want and the markets near Piazza Netuno are not far walking either. Some unexpected nice touches were left for my stay including a delicious breakfast pastry & a bottle of wine and water. I couldn't recommend Alessandro and the Skyline apartment enough, just don't try to book during the last week of September because I will be there... Hopefully

  My friends and I arrived in Bologna for a week and this apartment was a great place to stay at. It had a great view and everything was very clean. The owner even gave us a welcoming gift that was so nice on his part. I enjoyed my time in Italy and this apartment made it easier for us all.

  If possible, we would like to give this rental more than top score. This apartment is a dream, it is clean, quiet, decorated with taste and all appliances work absolutely perfect. We slept very well and had a wonderful stay right in the middle and above the roofs of Bologna. The terrace is superb, the view is breathtaking. There is a supermarket nearby where you can find anything you need for cooking at home, but there are also a couple of outstanding restaurants in the area. Very, very convenient to the train and the bus station, no more than 300 mts.. Great owner, excellent price and a FREE garage! We would definitely stay there again.

  We enjoyed our visit in Bologna and staying at Alessandro’s very much. The apartment has a modern style with a marvellous terrace and well-working appliances. The apartment is very quiet, clean and situated right in the center of Bologna (train station – 3 min. walk!) and it was possible to get to all points of interest by foot. In spite of that we often used busses - we recommend the City Pass multiple ticket. Alessandro was very gracious and provided important hints for choosing restaurants and shops. To sum it up, a great place in a great city at a great price too! Greetings from Germany! - Paul

Besides, the neighborhood is safe and has everything at hand. Recently a new gourmet restaurant opened up one block from us - it is a terrific place charging very little for a full meal - and the food is delicious!!! Come back soon!
