This is a cozy. comfortable place to stay, with all ameneties included. A short walk to the beach. There are many outstanding restaurants just minutes away, offering menus of virtually every type of food. We especially enjoyed those right on the water, with greatr views of the sunset. There is mini golf, bicycling, a gorgeous theater offering top professional shows and more shops and galleries than you can visit in a week. Of course, if you play golf, you're in heaven, with seemingly a golf course on every corner. We also enjoyed a drive to Savanna close by, and the little town of Bluffton with its classic shops and market. The condo was clean, and met all expectations. The owner provided excellent directions and suggested several places to see. It's located in a quiet area with a view of a golf course. It was a great vcataion, and we reccomend it highly.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.

We spent the 2nd week of October at your condo and it was all we could ask for. The condo was well equipped and perfect for 2. We spent a day in Savannah and a day in Charleston. Both were close and well worth the trip. Jean was very helpful and responsive to our e-mails and was especially helpful with information on restaurants,shopping,etc. We would recommend this to anyone and will be back. Thank you Lerners for a wonderful week.

A Fabulous Vacation!

Our stay was in Sept, 2011, and we had a fabuous vacation! The villa was well-stocked and was like a home away from home, with plenty of room for the 3 of us. It was very clean with nice decor. We brought our bikes, and were very pleased to be able to get on a bike trail in front of the villas. We were able to bike (and/or walk) to the beach, shopping, or dining on the many miles of trails on the island. The villa is very convenient to everything! The beach is a short walk, but if you have load of things to take, just drive up to the parking area and drop off one person with the stuff and walk back. At the beach there are nice public restrooms available. The owners were extremely helpful and quick to reply to questions! They had some restaurant recommendations on a bulletin board which we referred to frequently. There are some wonderful places to eat, but the kitchen in the villa was great for cooking meals too! We have already recommended this place to friends and we plan to return!

First vacation on Hilton Head

Our first stay at the Lerner's villa will not be our last. Villa is like staying at a friend's home. Great variety of good restaurants and a lovely beach. Everything a beach goer could ask for and more.

Recommended for:Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Just returned home from our wonderfully, relaxing stay at Jean & Bruce's villa. The villa was great...very clean, shaded and short walk to the beach. I was concerned about the walk to the beach, but it was really a pleasant walk and only about 100-150 yards to the parking lot of Folly Field Beach. Most of the walk was shaded; boardwalk to the beach with showers, restrooms, water fountain & vending machine. Stone's Throw is a very quite and relaxing community. We definitely would stay again!

Recommended for:Families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Enjoyed every minute of our stay!

So glad I found this condo,couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay!The condo is clean and well equipped.The area is perfect,not too commercial!The beach is right down the road...walking distance.The neighbors are friendly(both sides full time residence) I loved every minute of our stay...in fact friends staying this week so planning on another visit....No kids! :)The owners are lovely people...Thanks Bruce and Jean for keeping up the condo and for keeping the price reasonable!

Wonderful Stay

Our family of 4--including two teenagers just returned from a wonderful stay at Jean and Bruce's lovely condo. The place itself gave us plenty of room to spread out. The place was comfortable and homey. Having a washer and dryer was wonderful--no packing dirty clothes for the trip home! It was great to wake up, enjoy our coffee, have some breakfast and head to the beach. Folly Field beach is just a short walk from the condo. The beach was pleasant--not too crowded and very clean. Stone's Throw is in a great location on Hilton Head. We were close to everything we wanted. Much quieter location than the area around Coligny Beach. We especially enjoyed dinner at the Boathouse and a day trip to nearby Savannah. Already dreaming of a return trip!

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We really enjoyed our stay this May 2009 in Stone's Throw. Being our first trip to Hilton Head, we were a little nervous, but realized we made a great choice. The villa is secluded, but easily accessible to the pool. The beach was a tad of a walk, but not bad. From looking around, we realized you weren't going to get much closer no matter where you stayed. Our 2 boys rode down to the beach daily on the radio flyer wagon we brought. Worked great. The villa was wonderful. Well kept with essentials we may have forgotton available. We moved some of the furniture around easily for the ease of care and safety of our 3 and 1 year old children. We would definitely look into staying here again.

Our family just got home from staying a week this great condo. We had a great time and hated to leave. Very close to the beach and centered right in the middle of the island so you are close to everything. The lay is great for a family of 4. The kids had their privacy and so did we. The condo has everything you could ask for and more! We are already planning our trip for next year!

Just returned from a stay at Jean & Bruce's condo. My husband I took our grandchildren ages 7 & 11. It was just a short walk to the beach, the kids built sandcastles & they found seashells by the grass. Wanted to use our kites the last night, but it started to storm. We went to the beach & pool every morning & evening when it was cooler. The pool is right out your door. The condo is supplied with everything you need to do your own cooking which we did alot of. Very nicely decorated with a beach feel. We loved it & want to go again next year. Next time we want to bring our lawn chairs. The kids said it was awesome!!!!!! Thanks for a great vacation!!!

We just returned after a week in your villa and just loved it! It is so beachy feeling! It was so quiet and relaxing and a short walk to the beach. We found lots of seashells walking the beach. We will definitely return and recommend this villa to our friends. Oh, the couch is so comfy!

Exceeded our expectations! Well appointed, nicely kept villa in a quiet, well maintained complex. This villa is not only five minutes from the beach, but is in a mid-island location with easy access to all the Island has to offer, and easy access to go off-island. The townhouse villa means no renters above or below you, eliminating the 'noise' factor...and has nice permanent owners on both sides of you. We were here for a lengthy stay (almost five weeks) and found it comfortable to 'live in'. The appliances are up-to-date and the kitchen is amply equipped to do your own cooking, should you so desire. The owners, Jean and Bruce, are very nice to deal with. A great value!

We stayed here for a week during July 2006 and absolutely loved it! Walked to the beach every time, area is not too crowded and very central to most things on HHI. Clean, contemporary look, new appliances and comfy bedrooms. I would definitely return. Jean is very responsive and accommodating to special requests, please keep up the good work!

Our family just returned from a week long stay at Stones Throw. The villa was super clean and cute, the neighborhood quiet, and the folks friendly. We loved it so much that we could easily envision retiring there. It's a jewel among beaches, with excellent amenities, family-friendly parks and access to the beach. Thanks!

We just returned home from a one-week vacation over labor day having stayed in your wonderful condo. Extremely comfortable, clean, modern, cozy, safe neighborhood. Beds were very comfortable, slept like a baby. Only 5 minute walk to lovely beach. Many great restaurants and activities. Weather was great. This is a beautiful townhouse!Very clean and spacious. The complex this property is in was very quiet and perfectly maintained. With a 5 minute walk to the beach, it is perfect for a family of 5 like us to pack up and take the children. The only negative? We didn't have longer to stay. We will definitely be renting this unit again!!!
