What a wonderful experience we had at Casa Quadrifoglio! My wife and I have stayed at many VRBOs around the world, and would have to rank our experience at Casa Quadrifoglio at the top. The apartment itself was very spacious (particularly for a city like Rome), clean, and a really comfortable place to stay. We often came back in the afternoon just to hang out and rest for a bit at the apartment after a long day of touring around Rome. To this end, we really loved the neighborhood too. As much as we liked Rome, the highly-touristed areas in the city can seem oppressive (with tourists) at times, so it was great to be able to come back to our apartment across the river and be surrounded by “real people.” Perhaps more importantly, the apartment is in a real neighborhood, with restaurants, grocery stores, and bakeries that we just couldn’t find downtown. The apartment also was simple to get to and from – it was about a four minute walk from the Lepanto subway stop. Monika was an excellent, accommodating, and very detailed “host.” If you have never been to Rome before, or even if you have, you should rely heavily on the neighborhood and city guide that Monika and Luca put together. We found some of our favorite restaurants from the guide, and used it often. Equally important, though, Monika was extremely helpful and patient with the 500 or so questions I asked her before our arrival. I would highly, highly recommend a stay at Casa Quadrifoglio.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our week long stay was absolutely wonderful at this adequete sized apartment in the Prati neighborhood in Rome. If you have a college student studying at St. John's University it is in the perfect neighborhood right down the street two blocks. The metro stop is a block away so you can visit anywhere in Rome, and there are several markets in the vicinity to shop for food. The apartment owners were very gracious and sent wonderful accurate information on the area. The apartment was large enough for six people to sleep comfortably, although we only had three persons. Everything in the photos are accurate. We will definately rent again from them on our next trip to Rome.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

My 3 daughters and I LOVED this spacious apartment! We felt safe, secure, and really comfortable during our recent stay. The rates were reasonable and having a fully-equipped kitchen reduced the cost of eating out. The apartment is in walking distance to almost EVERYTHING, including public transportation, which made our vacation much more economical. My teen and pre-teen daughters loved the fact that they were able to shop, explore, discover and admire the architecture and beauty of Rome, on their own, as well as with me and their 5-year-old sister. There were many places for my youngest to enjoy, such as parks, museums, the zoo, etc. and special thanks to Monika for her Welcome Pack, which had such useful information about the apartment and surrounding area. BTW the fresh water fountains and even the tap water were the best we had ever tasted and safe to drink! We really enjoyed the food, and even walking a few short blocks to the local grocery markets to purchase fresh food almost every day. The best treat was Gelato (Italian ice cream) and walking to the Gelateria at night while enjoying the beauty of Rome (and feeling safe, too)! We look forward to staying at Casa Quadrifoglio again and would HIGHLY recommend it for families with kids of all ages.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children.

About the owner: I used to live in Rome many years ago and left my heart there when I left so long ago. My husband and I have 2 young children now, live in the States and felt that having a home there would allow them to experience the great treasures of Rome.

This apartment is very comfortable and conveniently located to many things I love about Rome. Also, because I lived in the same area many years ago I like the fact that many of the same places I frequented still exist.
