This three bedroom cottage accommodating 7 has it all: 2 bathrooms, gourmet kitchen, great room overlooking the water, large 'L' shaped deck, plus a balcony, gas grill, fire pit, private 100' sandy beach and new Otter Island Swim Float, kayak, L.L. Bean family canoe, Carpenter's Boat Shop skiff. Several inflatables for water enjoyment are on the deck.
The setting is a quiet lovely secluded cove with loons, bald eagles, osprey...a little piece of heaven. Linens are included for extra fees.
The first floor has two bedrooms, one with three single built-in bunk beds each with its own dresser, cubby, bookshelves, light and lots of games; the second overlooks the lake and has a full-sized bed, his and her dressers, and plenty of room for a pac 'n play or co-sleeper (these are not provided) if a baby is part of the family. The great room includes a fabulous kitchen, dining and living area, with flatscreen TV including basic cable. There is a DVD player along with 90 classic DVDs. A full bathroom, laundry closet with stackable washer/dryer, and several storage utility closets complete this floor. Each bedroom has an oil filled radiator in case the cool Maine night air gets too cool! There is a Rinnai heater in the great room which keeps the cottage cozy on such occasions.
The second floor has a loft, private balcony overlooking the water, and a bedroom with its own private bath, double bed, dresser, oil radiator, and easy chair...a spacious sanctuary also overlooking the water. The loft has a desk and chair and space large enough for another pac 'n play or blow-up mattress (not provided).
There are 5 Adirondack chairs with Ottomans on the beach, an 8' picnic table on the deck, a 9' moveable umbrella for shade, 6 adult and 2 child deck chairs, a glider, a lounge chair and hammock chair on the balcony with small table. The entire deck has a built-in bench.

About the owner: I am a New England native living in the Washington D.C. area, a graduate of Bates and Yale Divinity School. Recently retired, I purchased this cottage both for family enjoyment and as an investment.
