A Great Time at the Lake

Doug, Sorry it has take me so long to get this note to you. I wanted you to know how much we enjoyed our stay at your beautiful lake home. I remember first talking with you about the property and thinking this sounds to good to be true. I’m sorry but sometimes its hard to believe everything you are told, especially when you are buying. But I have to tell you it was everything and more of what you said. What a perfect setting and view, the entire family loved it. Since my dad is in a wheel chair the lower walkout level area couldn’t have worked out better. The additional refrigerator and wet bar was a great idea for both him and the kids. He’d wheel himself out to the dock and fish while we were boating (he is still talking about all the fish he caught on hot dogs). The kids spent most of their time on the dock swimming and loved the water slide. What a wonderful cove, always calm and very little boat traffic, so I didn’t worry about the kids swimming in the water off the dock. We’ve found a new vacation spot, the kids can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much for sharing you beautiful home with us. Sally

This is a beautiful house in a beautiful spot. We had a wonderful time while there. All in all, we had a wonderful Christmas holiday there! There were a couple of small problems, but all taken care of by the owner. One concern was the early check-out time - 10 a.m.; we found it difficult for a large family to get out so quickly (at least for us, as it takes days to plan to get in and you have a couple of hours to get up & out for the cleaning crew to come in). Make sure you check the cd player & dvd player before you leave, as we overlooked a few of those and couldn't go back to retrieve them. The owner is genuinely concerned about your satisfaction - a very fair man, so don't hesitate to contact him if you encounter a problem. Thank you, Doug!

We stayed at this home last year for a "girls retreat". We had a fabulous time!!! The house is perfect and the owners were very considerate. The accommodations were some of the nicest we have ever had. Very nice area. Lot's to do in the near vicinity. Especially enjoyed Ha Ha Tonka State Park and of course the outlet malls!!!! Would highly recommend this house . Will definitely stay her again. Michele & company (We all felt the same)

VERY nice place. It was actually BETTER than we had anticipated. The view was perfect. We were leery of the water location, but home sits in a nice cove. It was cool and damp during our stay, but the house and fire pit at night made it perfect. We will definitely be back! Wonderful place on the lake!

We recently stayed in this lovely lake home for a long 4 day weekend. It was FABULOUS! The location is outstanding and the home was very well appointed. We loved the quiet and secluded lake cove. We boated and enjoyed the yard, boat dock and fire pit. The views from the home were amazing. We are looking forward to our next stay!

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

A++ vacation property! Just returned from spending a week in this beautiful home. We enjoyed spending time on the private dock relaxing, fishing, and swimming. The quiet cove was perfect for water-skiing. Great view of the lake! We hope to return soon!

Our family truly enjoyed the time spent at your home. The accommodations were great; the water slide was very entertaining for all; everything well maintained. Absolutely loved having the "ice lady" stop by everyday with bags of ice delivered to the door! We didn't have to go to town for anything. Will definitely be back. Thanks again.

Judie and I truly enjoyed our stay last week. As with previous comments, everything we needed was there and, we have already contracted to go back again in September. The secure area on the dock was perfect for storing my fishing equipment so I didn’t have to keep hauling it back up to the house each time. We just this moment got back from your home at the Lake. What a wonderful experience. We take our daughter (and a few friends) to the Lake on her birthday each year. We have stayed at several homes, each was found via the internet. Your home is truthfully represented and is as beautiful as the pictures (if not more). Everything we needed was there. I will absolutely be revisiting. The set-up of the home was lovely. We enjoyed not having a television in the living room, but the big screen in the family room downstairs was great. We were able to sit and enjoy each other's company without competiting with the television, while enjoying the beautiful lake view. Very quiet and peaceful!
