Excellant place to stay!
Excellant place to stay!
Just returned home from a Girls' Getaway, and I''m so glad we found this condo! We especially loved the idea of 2 bedrooms with a very comfortable king sized bed in each one. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the property was very clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed going downtown around the river and we attended a play at the Kentucky Center for the Arts while we were there. We took the advice of the owner and toured Cave Cemetery. It was beautiful! The area around the condo is very busy with cute shops and restaurants. We especially enjoyed our lunch at Jack Frys. The food was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone!

Wonderful location and owner!
Wonderful location and owner!
We stayed here for the Kentucky Derby 2013, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The condo is great for 6 people in a prime location near lots of shopping and dining options. The property was in excellent condition and fully stocked with kitchen, bathroom and laundry supplies. The owner was wonderful answering all of my many questions beforehand, and even let us provide a grocery list of items before our stay that she had gotten for us prior to arriving. One note: this area is very active at night, and during Derby week it was very loud due to a bar located next door until very late at night (bars are open until 4 or 6 am this week). That being said, we were so tired from our own celebration and the beds were so comfy it didn't bother us at all :). We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the property.

Owner response: Thank you for the lovely review! I was concerned that it might be noisy when I saw the large party tent being set up just down the way... we are lucky that the Kentucky Derby only rolls around once per year. The Kentucky Derby is the Mardi Gras of Louisville, with the city becoming one giant party. Thankfully, the rest of the year is reasonably quiet.
My husband and I stayed in the condo for a week when in town for our daughter's wedding. It was a wonderful place to stay and regroup during a busy week. We were close to restaurants, downtown and any place we needed to be. It is a lovely, modern condo with the latest amenities and plenty of room for 4-6 guests. Everything was sparkling clean, and well-equipped. Our beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was also set up with coffee, and everything we needed for a great stay. We even got a surprise by being near a huge celebration when the Louisville Cardinals won the NCAA basketball fnals! We found ourselves in the middle of a great celebration and truly enjoyed ourselves. I would highly recommend this as a great place to stay with no worries!

Excellent place to stay!
Excellent place to stay!
We had a wonderful stay at this condo! My husband, myself and another couple came to Louisville for a long weekend, and this was the ideal place to stay. We loved the walk-ability to everything! The area was fun and busy, but the unit is tucked in a few steps...enough to make it a great retreat after all of the fun. The beds were very comfortable, so much so, that we sought out and purchased the blankets on these beds for our own beds at home! Everything was clean and nice! There were a lot of stairs, which we actually appreciated after eating ourselves silly at Jack Fry's and The Pie Kitchen after (possibly more than once.. :) Parking was great and easy, one spot was gated and the other in front of the unit, off street. We enjoyed watching the St Patrick's Day parade from the third floor patio! This was an ideal set up for two couples, as it offers two private suites. Deirdre was a great host and very communicative! We look forward to staying in Louisville at this great condo again soon.

Great Location & Super Comfortable
Great Location & Super Comfortable
I stayed in the townhouse with three friends for one week in October. Spectacular location- literally a two minute walk to city's best (INHO) restaurant; Jack Fry's. Could also walk within 5 minutes to coffee shop, ice cream shop, Cave Hill Cemetery, sushi place, pizza place, drug store and two irish bars. Townhouse had everything we needed- great beds, new furniture (not surprising since we were some of the first guests to stay there) and a full stocked kitchen. Wifi and cable were used daily. Also appreciated that the laundry room was fully stocked with detergent, bleach, iron and even spray starch. Owner was available when we needed her, but didn't bother us otherwise. She had very thoughtfully place local guidebooks, umbrellas, tourist info and a local paper in the townhouse for our use. Overall, for the price, I think this is best place to stay in Louisville.

Owner response: Thank you for your review! Jack Fry's is also my favorite Louisville restaurant, I recommend it so often that they should pay me in free Brie Salad, alas, they do not! We hope to see you and the guys again next year!
My mother, wife and I stayed in this condo for 4 days. The 2nd and 3rd floors of this condo are two large bedrooms with king beds and seperate bathrooms. The seperate floors gave each of us our privacy and allowed everyone to get ready at the same time. The beds were the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in and everything was spotlessly clean. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen had everything you would need for preparing a meal. The off street parking made it very easy to get in and out. The high speed internet was FAST. Right outside the door was several resturants and stores. We ate at the pizza place on the corner and it was good. We also went ot Jack Fry's for lunch and it was excellent. We all had something different but the hamburger was great! I would not hesitate to stay here again. The owner stopped by one time just to check on us and she was very nice. We didn't need anything and didn't have any problems but you could tell that the owner would have been happy to help. A great stay and a fun area!
