  Condo was well appoined in a perfect location. Best view of Buck Island on St. Croix. 5 minute drive to beach in either direction.Hike to Issac Bay was worth the effort! Gas grill was great and the balcony was great for dinner and morning coffee. Very quiet complex and will return.........

  The end to end process with the owner was easy and responsive, letting us arrange our vacation with ease. Once we arrived, we realized the photos and descriptions were, if anything, just a bit conservative. The large living room with cathedral ceiling really draws you in from the moment you walk in. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the condo, so it's nice privacy for larger groups with a nice decorator's touch. We stayed in the ocean-front master suite with expansive ocean views across the water to Buck Island. The lanai runs the width of the living room and master and is the perfect place to soak up pool and ocean views, as well as the constant tropical breeze. The east end is quiet, away from any cruise ship or tour groups that might visit St. Croix, but easy driving distance to Christiansted. Several interesting restaurant options are on the east end anyway, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Mahis, Buccaneer, Divi Carina Casino, Duggan's and more. Definitely a great week-long stay.

  My overall experience at Hakuna Matada was nothing short of spectacular. The first thing I noticed upon entering the condo was how nicely appointed and tasteful it was without having sacrificed comfort, style, and warmth. It was apparent that the unit was well-maintained with lots of TLC and attention to detail, which only made for more relaxed, at-home surroundings. The balcony was an ideal place to enjoy the view of the ocean and take in the night air. The sensation of being immersed in the tropics was unmistakable indoors and out. Although I originally made these arrangements to celebrate a milestone, if anyone needs a getaway for whatever reason, this very lovely place will not disappoint. I would recommend it in a heartbeat.

  Thank you for your great condo. It exceeded my expectations. The view of the ocean and Buck Island is spectacular. It’s the most relaxing vacation I have ever had. The view from the master bedroom / living room draws you out to the balcony. Once you sit down, you never want to leave. The sunsets are amazing! Venturing out to shops or to take in some island history made for fun day trips. The snorkeling gear was high quality and a great perk. The condo was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The full kitchen was completely stocked and perfect for cooking meals at home or grilling on the balcony. The furnishings are elegant, yet cozy and comfortable. I loved the 60” plasma TV! I felt safe and secure with the security provided at this gated community. This was very important to me. In a nutshell, it’s all the conveniences of home with magnificent surroundings. Truly paradise!

  We stayed at this condo for two weeks and could not have been happier. Not only was it immaculately clean and in wonderful condition with all the amenities you'd expect, but the view from the balcony of Buck Island was second to none. The view and the pool made us never want to leave the condo. But when we did, we were so conveniently located near Christiansted that it made running into town a breeze. The condo is right down the road from Cheeseburger in Paradise, so be sure to check out this place for excellent burgers, beer, and friendly locals. Being coffee lovers, we also really appreciated the top-of-the-line coffee maker in the condo's kitchen. Getting up early, making a cup of coffee, and watching the sunrise from the gorgeous balcony was the favorite part of our day. The master bedroom suite and adjoining master bathroom were pure heaven with furnishings to match. There's a great office desk (with Internet) in the bedroom if you do have to work a little while you're in paradise. And the second bedroom (with it's own connecting bathroom) is perfect if you have kids, or just friends or family joining you on your vacation. The living room was complete with a terrific entertainment system and big comfy sofa for watching movies at night or just enjoying the cross breeze coming in off the waters. We'll definitely be back. It was everything we had hoped it would be...and more!!!

  My husband and I had an unbelievably perfect vacation at this condo. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony every morning and cocktails at night with the most perfect view of Buck Island, tropical green water, and warm breezes. The condo is clean, clean, clean and beautifully decorated. Every room is designed for comfort with all the accommodations of a 4 star hotel. We can't wait for our next trip to St. Croix and Carden Beach.

  Wonderful. Relaxing. Great location. Great condo with everything we wanted or needed. The best part was relaxing on the balcony - drinking coffee, eating a meal, napping, reading, or just looking at the water and Buck Island. Snorkeling was great, exploring the island fun, eating in various restaurants wonderful, and going to my first "crab race" was a real adventure.

  Everything about this beautiful condo was absolutely amazing and drop dead gorgeous! My wife and I found it online and decided to take a chance and book it. We were so surprised when we checked in as it is magnificently decorated, impeccably furnished and extremely clean…far beyond any rental we have experienced in the past. It was obvious that the owners loved this property. Everything from the quality of the furniture, to carpets, window treatments, and color selections were appointed perfectly. And then we walked over to the balcony! The most beautiful view imaginable of the Caribbean, and what we would come to know is Buck Island. Not a peak, but a full-unobstructed view of the azure blue waters, replete with a lovely warm sea breeze. This became our favourite activity, sitting on comfortable deck chairs enjoying a Cruzan Rum and fresh fruit punch at sunset. The pictures don’t do it justice. All the furnishing were not only well appointed, but very comfortable and conducive to relaxation. The beds were very comfortable, the condo had plenty of room and stacked with amenities such as a Weber propane barbeque and a 60 inch television! Most welcome for a sports fan and when, on rare occasion, the weather wasn’t cooperative. The bathrooms were spacious and well appointed as well. The master bath even had a Jacuzzi style tub! My wife and I are restaurateurs, and I am a professional chef, so we were particularly delighted with the kitchen. It was completely functional and perfect for preparing home cooked meals from fresh fish, vegetables and fruits from the island’s many farmers markets. The kitchen even had an espresso/coffee machine! Excellent for enjoying some of the regions fine coffees on the balcony at sunrise. Perfect. As we had not been to this particular island, the owners were so helpful with suggestions of activities and dining options. We followed up on all their suggestions and were never let down. The gated community, coupled with the obvious presence of security, made it feel like a safe place, which was important to us as we didn’t know the island. After two days, however, we felt we were at home! I will not comment on the Island itself, but suffice it to say that we absolutely loved our experience there and are planning to go back as soon as we can. My wife and I well travelled and have vacationed at many of the world’s sunny spots, but this is now our favorite destination, and when we return we will most definitely rent this condo. Before

  This condo was just beautiful, and I loved every minute of my stay. The porch has a gorgeous view of the ocean. No photo could do it justice. The property was clean and well-maintained, and it was true to the descriptions provided. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to spend time somewhere peaceful and beautiful, and on an island with the best seafood you've ever had!

  The listing description was accurate and I was very happy with my stay. The rental was very beautiful and walking distance to the beach. Very close to shops and restaurants. Ocean view was lovely from the balcony. Would highly recommend this island and this condo to travelers of all ages!
