I can't tell you how much we enjoyed the house. It was beautiful and so relaxing. It was the perfect setting for my family and my sister's family to enjoy our time together. We will definitely recommend your home to our friends coming this way. Again, thanks for sharing your wonderful house. It was like having a private resort all to ourselves.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Brad and Melissa We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting for a family vacation. We enjoyed hanging by the pool, kayaking and watching the spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Immaculate, gorgeous, spacious, private property. Great location, beautiful home with everything you need, fully stacked kitchen, even great wine glasses. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, clean, new furniture. Pool was heated and we took kayak out and caught a few fish. Didn't mind a little rain, since we had such a great time. Great views of the ocean on the patio, where we had breakfast and lunch. The owner recommended Butterfly Cafe for a romantic dinner and it was a winner as well. Very good service and excellent food. Thank you Brad, we will be back !!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We were the first renters here since the new owner purchased and renovated the place. My far flung family converged on the home for the Christmas 2012 holiday. It was immaculate. There were a few unfinished items due to the newness but everything was clean and bright and functioning as expected. The brand new pool was very nice, clean and heated. The lagoon and the pool meant we had to keep a close eye on the grandkids, but the property is compact so it was not difficult. The kids got a tether ball for Christmas and the "beach" area had plenty of room for it as well as for storage of the boat trailer. My son-in-law brought his 25' center console fishing boat and we scored some Mahi-Mahi as a bonus. There was even a fish cleaning table next to the dock. The lagoon was just large enough to turn the boat around by hand but provided excellent protection for the vessel while docked. Overall, the setting itself is breathtaking and the landscape is impressive. There is a separate "cottage" or "guest house" that houses a queen bedroom and a sleep sofa. It has a wine cooler and a microwave as well as a kitchen counter. The main house has three bedrooms up on the main level along with a screened lanai, a good sized living room, a kitchen with counter seats and eating area. The bunk room has one set of full size bunks and one set of standard twin bunks so it can accomodate six people. There is also a smaller bedroom on the lower level. The bath for that bedroom was in a separate building that also housed the extremely well equipped laundry. That bath has a very cool multi-nozzle shower. My 31 year old son stayed down there so the outside bath was not a problem for him. It might not be great in a downpour, or for a more skidish soul, since the last 10 feet of the path is not covered, but it was fine for us. The home location is close to both the Turtle Rescue Center and the Dolphin Research Center, both of which my young grandkids loved. It is opposite a quiet private airport that was not a distraction. Key West is a little more than an hour away and we spent a day there as well. We have rented several places through VRBO and this was one of the best experiences we have had. Although the owner is not close, he was responsive to the few small issues we had. I would go back there in a heartbeat and I would recommend it to friends and family. Although for Christmas it did lack snow...........Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We loved the house. It was extremely comfortable for the entire family. The whole atmosphere was relaxing & tranquil. We had fun on the beach & loved sitting out in the lagoon arrea. A great experience by all. A great place to get together & let the rest of the world fade away. Will definitly do this again. Thank you for allowing us to have this wonderful time together as a family. Couldn't have done this any where else in this manner. Everything was just inspiring. Everything was clean & well maintained. Thank you for answering all our questions & being so helpful with our stay. The location & pictures were helpful, but the real thing was even better.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
