Welcome to our spacious,Warm Log cabin located in the beautiful private resort community of Emerald Lakes... This 24 hour security community is full of amenities for you and your family to enjoy. You're only a walk away from the clubhouse which features a olympic size heated indoor pool with sauna, tennis courts, basketball courts, and playground. The community center provides an arcade room, pool table room, restaurant (open Friday and Saturday evenings)and bar. Bingo every Saturday night.
Six scenic lakes and two beaches (lifeguards in the summer),all which accessible to your use.
We personally provide a rowboat and canoe for your pleasure next to one of the beaches - we provide fishing poles.
This log cabin offers three bedrooms - Master bedroom provides you with luxurious bedding - Sterns & Foster double sided pillow topped bed with 400 hundred thread count sheets - lose yourself in luxury with sateen comforter set.
Upstairs bedroom has a queen bed with 300 hundred thread count bedding and 19" TV and VCR. The third bedroom has a double bed and bunkbeds also with 19"TV and VCR. Just getaway and relax with your movie of choice on your own VCR and our selection of 300 VCR tapes.
The Living room has couch selectional with 36 inch TV, DVD, CD, and home stereo surround sound system. We provide over 300 VCR tapes.
We provide all types of games including -Scrabble,Monopoly, Chess, Uno, Poker-cards and chips, 3-D puzzles, Survivor, Who wants to be a Millionaire- Don't we all?!
We are located only ten minutes away from Camelback Ski Resort area where you can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing. Camelback turns into Camel Beach, one of the largest water parks for the summer months-Our community center provides discount prices for Camelback.
Need to shop, don't worry - Crossings Outlet Mall is located just minutes away with over 100 brand name stores at discount prices. Pocono Raceway is only five miles away so you can enjoy the fast track racing, with two major NASCAR events each year. Come and enjoy the thrill of NASCAR.

We found this place last minute before the MLK holiday but Donald and his wife were accommodating in facilitating the booking process. We had family visiting from outside and they were looking forward to seeing snow, not only did we get snow the day we arrived but the log cabin location, decoration and comfort made the weekend a success. The cabin is clean and have everything you would need. Our children love the indian motive decorations and enjoyed watching movies from the large collection. The location is perfect, just minutes from camelback resort and the outlets!
Recommended for:Families with young children.

I chose to lovely log home to spend a relaxing weekend and and to celebrate my birthday as well...The home is very comfy you'll feel right at home the moment you walk. My hubby and I slept in the bedroom on the 1st floor and the bed was extremely comfortable, I'd assume the other bedroom was as well because I didn't any complaints from my sister and her hubby. We also had a great time at the pool, however it does not open until 5pm. Everything was very neat and clean upon our arrival, there's a really nice bowling alley and lounge approx 10mins away (Summit Lanes) we also visited the outlets. As long as you have a vehicle you are very close to lots of activities and attractions. Overall this is a really good place to stay if your looking for a cozy getaway, I will definitely stay again. This is the second time we've stayed at Don's Cabin. He's very helpful and easy to work with. Lowest price around, especially compared to the size of the place. TONS of exciting things to do. He has two boats and there's a beach on the lake in the community. Right around the corner from Camelback mountain and the Premium outlets. We found awesome deals at the outlets and tried the "Tree top activities" at the mountain. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in the poconos!

Perfect place for our quick weekend getaway. Visited a local winery, pumpkin festival, brewery, did some outlet shopping... will definitely come back for Bushkill Falls. Didn't get a chance to take advantage but there was a pool table and several games in the basement and throughout the house. Owner was super helpful and easy to work with. Had a fabulous weekend! Great price too!!

We spent a great fall weekend at the "log home". The inside was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our needs. The community offered many activities and we were only a short drive to lots of the poconos best attractions.

The house was exceeded our expectations and was extremely clean! The kids loved going to the lake/beach eveyday where they enjoyed swimming, fishing and eating lunch. We were only minutes from Camel Beach which was a great time! The kitchen was well stocked for all of our cooking needs. The only downfall was that we were there during a heat wave and the cabin was extremely hot, even at night. Overall, we had a great vacation and would love to come back in the winter to enjoy all of the winter activities. I would recommend this this property to families as well as couples for a nice getaway. Thanks Donald!

We enjoyed our stay at this home! It met our needs and was close to everything we wanted to do. This is a great place to stay for a getaway and provides plenty of space. Out 2 teenage boys loved it. A little warm though. Couldn't get air conditioning to work, but a good cross breeze when windows were open.

Wonderful spot for multi-generation family activities. Everyone in our group from the 4-year-old to the 58-year-old was happy with the spacious surroundings. Loved working with the owners, very caring and cooperative.

We stayed at this log home over the winter break so that we could ski at Camelback. What a blast! The home is close to anything you would want to do in the Pocono Mountains. It is right down the road from Camelback Mountain and we were able to get our daughter to her 8:30am ski lesson in minutes. The rooms are spacious and the home has a great feeling of rustic charm. We just brought some food and enjoyed the quality time with friends and family. We also enjoyed the Community Pool and Bar & Grill. We are so pleased that we are considering returning so that we can enjoy the summer months next time.

This house was absolutely perfect for our little getaway!! The kids had an awesome time staying here, there was plenty of games and movies to occupy them each night. It was only about 10-15 minutes from Camelback which was perfect. Feels like home the moment you walk through the door!!
