  My husband, son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in the Cannery Row cottage. The location can't be beat, right off the bike trail. We rode just about every day and went down the 17 mile road to Carmel one day. The cottage is very cozy and well equipped. Aquarium passes are a huge bonus. Thanks so much!

  My husband, 2-year-old son and I stayed here for three nights. The cottage is perfect: clean, thoughtfully furnished and stocked, located right off the bike path and Cannery Row (but away from the crowds and bustle), and with a view of the water from the deck off the kitchen. The pictures are absolutely representative. It couldn't have been easier to get to the Aquarium or to stroll the bike path and Cannery Row. We enjoyed the touring bikes (and trailer for our son), and sitting on the deck in the evening with a glass of wine, and the owners' excellent restaurant suggestions. The cottage is amazing, but perhaps the best part is the owners, who we met on our last day. They really care about your stay and whether the cottage suits your needs. We are very picky about vacation rentals and couldn't have been happier with this one. We plan to return for a longer stay!

  This was the ideal vacation rental for our family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers. A 2 bed, 1.5 bath cottage with a kitchen and laundry facilities and plenty of off-street parking close and convenient to everything in downtown Monterey. Steps from Cannery Row and right next to the flat and easy bike path/coastal trail. Walking/biking distance to the aquarium (0.5 mi), Fisherman's Wharf (1 mi), and Dennis the Menace park (1.5 mi). Plus, included are aquarium passes, cruiser bikes with a child trailer, and wifi. Highly recommend!

  I recently stayed at this property along with my wife and another couple and it was perfect for what we needed! There was plenty of room for the 4 of us to relax all weekend, we were able to use the kitchen to cook meals and we would enjoy the view with our coffee every day! The location was an added bonus as we were able to walk everywhere and enjoyed exploring the area by foot! Great place, great price and great location!

  I must admit that I hesitated before booking this property because I thought it seemed too pricey...but the location and the fact that the bikes were included as well as aquarium passes, made this a great deal! Hayley was very helpful and gracious. We biked to Trader Joe's to get our groceries, we biked along the coastline, we biked to the Japanese Steakhouse at night for dinner. Bike rental is about $35 a day per bike if you get it at a shop and the added ease of having the bikes where we stayed was awesome!

  Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

  The photos were very accurate. Simple contemporary, IKEA-style decor. The kitchen has every gadget you will need. We didn't have any issues and didn't need to contact the owners, but they were kind enough to call after our first night to see if everything was okay. It was a nice gesture. The washer and dryer were a BIG plus and the owner were so thoughtful to provide laundry detergent. The location is literally across the street from the Monterey Plaza Hotel which is on the waterfront. You can see the water from the kitchen as the photos depicted. There is a trail right in front from the house that leads to Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It was a nice, easy and safe walk. The only issue I have is that the master bathroom is a bit outdated and hence, no photos of the room where the bathtub is located. It's not a big deal, but don't expect the bathroom to look like the rest of the house.

  This was the perfect house for a visit to Monterey with my mom, sister and nephew. The house is within walking distance to the aquarium and Cannery Row, next to the walking/biking path and close to the water. The photos show accurately the simple yet tasteful décor. For a small cottage it's very roomy and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family and would rent it during another trip to Monterey.

  We loved everything about our stay at this house. The location is amazing, the house is so beautifully kept and had everything we needed -- it was bigger than the pictures had us believe. My only regret is that the weather didn't allow us more time on the adorable deck -- the views are lovely!

  We four adult family members stayed in this quaint and lovely cottage for three nights, having arrived in the US the previous day from the UK and New Zealand. We found it easily, thanks to the directions from owner Hayley, and partly also due to its choice location close to Cannery Row and waterfront. If anything, the photos do not do it justice. Although a small and characterful cottage, it is immaculately decorated and fitted out inside with everything you could want. Perfectly clean and fresh throughout - bedding, towels, crockery, kitchenware - good quality and not a fault anywhere. Small things count: I liked the good quality complimentary soaps and shampoos provided. Also the complimentary bottle of very nice Californian wine (our first sample!). We enjoyed the sunny deck, and watching hummingbirds in the garden, to the sound of seals barking from the harbour. We appreciated and took advantage of the 4 adult bikes provided, and with the cycleway at the front door it was so easy to get around and see the local sights. Naturally we also used the passes provided free to visit the reknowned Monterey Aquarium. While there, we took a whale-watch tour one afternoon and were lucky enough to see a blue whale spout, and lots of other sea life besides. The guide's commentary was fascinating. I would certainly recommend this property.

  My husband and I stayed here for a week with our toddler and my parents. We walked to restaurants, shops, beaches and the aquarium very easily. The house itself was cute and clean and the beds were comfy! We loved the aquarium passes. It was so nice to go for a couple hours each day and not have to rush. Asilomar beach is a 15 minute drive away with beautiful coastal views the whole way. We plan on repeating this vacation for sure!
