Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great Mother's Day weekend at the First Mate's Cottage, with plenty of room for five adults, three kids, and a dog. There were lots of fun activities, inside and out for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with all the extras. We enjoyed visiting on the deck with lots of chairs, large table, and view of the ocean. Comfy beds and four TV's. Manager responded on 5/16/2013: Thank you Alice for the kind words. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at First Mate's cottage! The home had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The large yard was wonderful for the kids and adults to play together. The view from the master bedroom was beautiful. We have rented many homes at the beach over the past several years and this one was definitely one of our favorites, if not our favorite. It is a great vacation home for a family with kids! Reviewer Comments: Ours was not a representative experience, since my husband and I built this house as our retirement home in 1980 and 8 women of our family were with me there on a family weekend. It was wonderful to be back in the place with so many wonderful memories.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at the First Mate's Cottage. Although "Cottage" is an understatement. Our family enjoyed the spacious and very clean home. It had everything we needed and more. The ping pong table was a hit with our kids and we all enjoyed the short walk to the beach. A great bonus is right across the street is Jimella & Nanci's Market Cafe where we ate a wonderful meal. We are seasoned vacation home renters and this home was one of the nicest we have ever rented.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was very roomy and comfortable for a large group. We had 10 people, 5 couples, and we felt like we had plenty of space and privacy for everyone. We also liked walking to the beach and being a little off the beaten path. No traffic noise etc. Very nice accommodations. The property managers were also helpful and even came to the house when we couldn't get the television to work. Highly recommend this house and location.
