Beautiful renovated house on salt water canal. There are three bedrooms, two baths, two car garage, beautiful solar heated pool in lanai. Covered lanai has table and chairs to keep you dry from the rain. There are four sliders to the lanai. A gas grill for barbecues, dock for fishing, fenced in yard and davits for a small boat. All bedrooms have brand new eurotop queen mattresses. The master bedroom has a unique queen mattress massage system to help you relax.

This property really does have everything and for a reasonable price. We loved the solar heated, south facing pool which stayed in the 80's even when the daytime temp in March dipped to 68 for a few days. The neighborhood is very quiet and the canal, with its jumping fish and interesting birds, had minimal boat traffic. The location is wonderful for taking peaceful walks and my husband loved the use of the bikes that were provided. The house is within biking distance of Fisherman's Village and the local beach park. In the house itself, the kitchen and baths (newly remodeled) have everything you could need including supplies I never would have expected. I like to cook and it was a pleasure. The appliances are all high quality and we loved having the expanded TV cable that allowed us to tape up to 2 programs at a time. We don't even have this at home! The beds (also new) were very comfortable. So if you like what you see, don't hesitate in booking this house. P.S. The owners are extremely nice and are very responsive too.Recommended for: Age 55+.

This was my first experience being a snowbird and was lucky to find this wonderful place Karen and Jeff maintain. They have thought of everything you might need from bicycles to blender. If they didn't have it in their home for your use, they would make sure you would soon get it. They were the best landlords you could ask for. The home is nicely decorated and the pool is wonderful!! It is so nice to be able to swim in your own backyard in the middle of January. The Punta Gorda area is beautiful and has lots of things to do. There are several golf courses, and many bike/walking trails to follow to make sure you get plenty of exercise. Make sure you visit nearby Fisherman's Village for shopping in nice little shops. Also, you should stop in at Harpoon Harry's...the food is great and overlooks the beautiful Peace River. It's a nice bike ride from the house to Cubby's icecream shop on the corner of Marion and 41. They have the best Snickers icecream, and it's all homemade. I am so glad to have enjoyed such a wonderful "first time" experience in the warm and sunny weather in Punta Gorda. I highly recommend staying in this nice home Karen and Jeff have to offer. They really do try to make your stay as wonderful as possible. The amenities are abundant here!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

Very nice property. Jeff & Karen were very attentive and quick to respond to any questions. Everything worked well and was in good condition especially the kitchen which had just been redone. The location was very quiet and peaceful with little to no traffic but very handy to Punta Gorda downtown. The pool had a beautiful, sunny south exposure and the canal it was on had davits as well as a concrete dock. I just wish I'd had my boat there!Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.
