I took my father, son, and uncles to a Carolina Panther game earlier this year for a little inter-generational male bonding. I was looking for a home to rent for the long weekend that would accommodate my elderly uncles and young son/nephews. This place was perfect. No steps for the old men to climb and a huge yard for the kids to play in. I didn't realize that there were these estate areas so close to the city. What a score! This house was very clean, newly renovated, huge yard, fireplace, and more! The location is great if you are looking to stay anywhere near Charlotte. I'm glad I didn't spend the extra money on a hotel, this place had more than I could ask for. The convenience of this home brings its great value. This house is in great condition with all the amenities that you need. The neighborhood is beautiful and safe (Myers Park), and is a mere 10 minutes from the heart of downtown Charlotte. The owner and property manager were helpful and did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable. We came into town Friday to see a Charlotte Panthers game on Sunday. We wanted a place close to downtown, but we had a big group and thought a house would provide us with more quality time and space than a hotel. There were enough beds to sleep 10-12, and enough linens and towels for everyone. We also cooked all of our meals and the kitchen was fully stocked. I couldn't have been happier with this rental! It was exactly as advertised. Great price, great value, and it sure beats staying in a hotel. The property is very well taken care of. You can not beat the location. We were so close to downtown, it was only a few minutes away. The owner was super friendly and he went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable.
