Seabrook Island is a 2200-acre island located 23 miles south of Charleston. On the way out to this absolute jewel of an island the drive goes through some of the most picturesque scenery in the low country.
Our Live Oak villa is located in the gated resort community of Seabrook Island. Our second-floor, end, luxury villa has the feel of a private home as you enjoy the scenic beauty of live oaks, palms, magnolias, and the 15th fairway of the Crooked Oaks Golf Course.
You will see and hear a variety of wildlife just outside of the nicely appointed villa. A private pool is located on the premises for guests of the villa. Take a very short bike ride to reach the beautiful uncrowded beaches and pristine dunes.
The island amenities are second to none. Two championship golf courses, tennis, equestrian center (trail and beach rides), fine dining, three beach club pools, fully-equipped fitness center, biking, nature trail, fishing, crabbing, and dolphin watching - mostly having fun and relaxing.
New for 2008 is a Club amenity fee of $150/wk or $25/day charged by the Club for access to the Club's facilities. This fee is paid by the renter to the Club upon arrival at Seabrook Island. If you choose not to use the Club facilities then you do not pay the additional fee.
Bohicket marina is just outside the gate where you will find a full-service marina including small boat rentals, sailboat rides, nature tours, sport fishing, kayaking, parasailing, and a variety of dining establishments. Freshfields Village is also just outside the gate where there are a variety of shopping and dining facilities. And all of this is conveniently located just 30 minutes from all the charms of Charleston. |
