  This was a precious cottage in the woods right near the lake, clean and neat, bright and remodeled......a wonderful retreat from the busyness and complexity of routine living. The owner was extremely gracious and helpful, seeing that our needs were met and filling us in on the history of the area. It is an efficiency as stated with just 2 single beds and no couch, meant for just two people. We loved it!

  We had an absolutely wonderful time at this adorable, clean, well-appointed, and comfy cottage. Just right for the two of us -- walked down to the water to canoe, walked to town for the shops, and enjoyed gorgeous sunsets from the water's edge each evening. Our hosts could not have been more helpful and attentive to our questions. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. This weekend made our 33rd wedding anniversary a delight!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

  Very charming efficiency cottage. The setting is beautiful. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the bay shore in comfortable chairs that are provided. The beds are comfortable and the cottage clean. Good proximity to Sister Bay and Gills Rock. We love the food and atmosphere at Bay Shore restaurant in Gills Rock. There is a public beach in walking distance although we prefer driving down to Sister Bay to swim. The owners are very helpful. It was a good experience. We would stay there again.
