We welcome enquiries from a respectable, trustworthy, discerning and home loving couple!Our home does not accommodate, children, pets and smokers.Our home is only rented several months of the year, so you will find everything superb quality!Located on the corner of Gladiolus and Bass Road.
We are minutes drive away from the stunning, sun drenched white sand beaches of Fort Myers, Sanibel, Captiva and Lovers Key.
Located in one of the most desirable areas of Fort Myers, recreational and entertainment opportunities will all be right in your own back yard.
After entering through our electronic security gates you will pass our clubhouse and recreational facilities, it is only a short drive to our home.
The paved drive leads to a two car garage with auto opening. You enter the house through a covered foyer which leads you into our formal carpeted lounge/dining area. The house has vaulted ceilings and is open planned through out so you will feel instantly relaxed by the size of the rooms.
To the left is our well equipt kitchen with Whirlpool appliances, Corian work tops and under cabinet lighting. The kitchen has all the mod cons to make it a home from home. To the left of the kitchen is our utility room which has a full size washer, dryer and plenty of cupboard space.
To the right of the kitchen is the nook area where you can relax and play board games from our selection. These can be found in the armoir in the living room.The living room boasts two extremely comfortable Italian leather settees with ottoman, ideal for watching TV or DVD/Video from our library. Whilst you are seated here you have an excellent view through our french doors of the pool area and a dramatic fountain lit lake!
The master bedroom is very spacious, this has direct access to the pool/lake area through patio doors. The Master has a King Bed, walk-in closet and a TV/Video. The Master ensuite bathroom has a full size walk in shower with tasteful stucco mouldings, Jacuzzi brand tub, seperate WC and a two wash basin vanity area with Corian counter tops.
The other bedroom has a Queen bed, night stands, tv/video combined and has a spacious closet.This room has a beautiful pool view.It shares a 2nd bathroom with tub/shower, WC and again a vanity area with Corian counter top.
The Lanai has a 28ft lap pool and a covered dining area with fan, four sun loungers are also available for your use. Here you can soak up the sun or sit back and take in the view of the wildlife on the lake, it is very peaceful and tranquil.
We are very proud of our home and we believe you will have a memorable, relaxed visit and will not want to leave!
This is more than just a rental property it is our second home!

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
David first fell in love with this part of Florida over 20 years ago whilst working for Disney in Orlando. With our professions we were able to make the most of the area, visiting regularly, in 2002 we bought our first property in the area and haven't looked back. The location of our home, with central access to both the islands of Sanibel & Captiva and Fort Myers, the US41, I75 and the international airport, mean we couldn't be better situated. We find the feel of the area to be relaxed, family orientated and safe.We still love the area as much today as we did then.
The Unique Benefits at this Pool House
The beaches of Sanibel and Captiva are some of the most beautiful and unspoilt in the world, that is speaking from our vast experience. The fact that nothing can be built taller than a palm tree on these islands has maintained, means that there is no high rise or built up feel. The abundance of nature, dolphins, manatees, eagles and ospreys never ceases to astound. The amenities we can also appreciate from our location include an amazing variety of restaurants both waterside and on the nearby US41. There is no shortage of shopping opportunities from your regular shopping malls, to open air, up-market plazas. There is something for everyone, whilst still maintaining a friendly, family feel to the area, it is still relatively undiscovered and unspoiled.

Great beach, showers, changing facilties, trails, work out trails, grills & picnic tables. Take a walk across the waterway to the beach. Lots of wildlife great day out. (paid parking)
