Our three bedroom 2 bath beach cottage is half a block from the ocean and one block to the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve. Peace, quiet, sea air, gorgeous walks, and a child friendly house make this the perfect, casual beach house to enjoy the Half Moon Bay area. One room with bath is totally child friendly with two kid's beds and the potential for a cot. Two additional rooms with double beds. Washer and dryer, basketball hoop, bikes, surfboard and body boards, safe neighborhood where your kids can skateboard and walk to the beach. Beautiful sunsets, quiet, and peaceful. Fully equipped kitchen with blender, toaster, microwave, stove and oven, dishwasher, and all you need to cook. Large farmhouse table seats eight to ten people. Danish woodstove for cozy fires, both bathrooms have showers and bathtub.Perfect for a family gathering, children, surfers, America's Cup visitors, or golfers. Scenic and beautiful short drive to San Francisco, Half Moon Bay and northern California attractions. We are always happy to work with you to provide what you need. Concierge services available.

This was a wonderful house for our family of 4. The beach is a 5 minute walk away and has amazing tide pools to explore at low tide. It's in a cute neighborhood and a quick drive to Half Moon Bay. Owner was very helpful answering any questions we had and the place was comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children.

We recently stayed at this little cottage by Moss Beach with our children. A short ride to Half Moon Bay which is a wonderful town with many attractions for the family. The children?s room was great because it had it?s own bathroom and was spacious. French doors led to the outside. Our room was smaller, but quiet and peaceful. We walked to the beach to see the sunset and had dinner one night at the picnic tables by the nature preserve. The kitchen is big and lends itself to nice dinners and plenty of space for board games or laptops. I love this part of the world, and this was a nice little cottage, convenient to all we needed as a family. Nothing too precious - child-friendly and warm. And my husband was able to surf his favorite beaches all close at hand We enjoyed our stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
