If your looking for quiet, this is the place! I loved the house, large bedrooms & baths. Great back patio w/roof. If we weren't at the beach, you could find us reading/napping in the hammocks or hanging around the large table playing cards & drinking wine. The beach is not only beautiful w/lots of shells, but very quiet & NO venders! The echo lodge next door set us up w/horseback riding, surfing & fishing, all very affordable. The echo lodge is also, a wonderful place for meals. But if you want to cook, the kitchen is fully equipped & there is a propane grill. We shopped in Managua before we arrived, but for a small fee, the manager will shop for you. I also, can't say enough about the wonderful manager, she will go above & beyond if you need anything!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This extremely well-maintained house is even more beaurtiful than the pictures you see online. A great place to go if you want to "get away from it all," it is in a quiet, restful, and very safe setting. The property manager helped us with transportation plans from the airport and was a wealth of information on the area. We will definitely go back for another amazing weekend. You will love it too!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Wow, in a phrase, Casa Tranquila is the perfect name for a tranquil beachfront home. The house is new and has already been outfitted with all the amenities of home. The property manager was very friendly and welcoming. I had given her a grocery list and I had all the essentials waiting for me, upon my arrival. I loved the layout. The bathrooms are large and outfitted with rain shower shower heads. The king size beds are comfortable and provide a sound slumber. I dozed off to the sound of the surf, no white noise app required. The living area is open and inviting. I loved the high ceilings. If I wasn't reading at the beach, or swimming, I was enjoying the chairs and hammocks on the patio. The oceanfront location provides an excellent view of the incredible sunset. I also watched the sunset from the beach and the sunset surfing was surreal. I was constantly shaking my head at how beautiful the Pacific coast of Nicaragua is and how lucky I was to be vacationing there. The Eco resort next door is a chill place to have meals and unwind as well. The fresh caught fish was delicious. They offer surfing lessons, yoga, and massages to write home about. The proprietors make you feel right at home. Casa Tranquila is perfect for relaxing, surfing, swimming, fishing, finding sand dollars, and horseback riding along the coast.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This was our first trip to Nica. and it was amazing. The house was even better than described, so comfortable and very well laid out. It was just my husband and I but I feel like it would be a wonderful house for two couples or a family with kids. The bedrooms and baths were generous in size. The kitchen was well equipped but we only used it for coffee. We spent all our time next door at the surf lodge having our meals. After a wonderful introduction from the manager we felt like we had our bearings and started to explore. This house is perfect for surfers or like us, people who just want to check out for a week. The beaches are gorgeous and deserted. We spent hours every day walking and looking for shells. I couldn't say enough nice things about the people at the surf lodge next door. It's such a warm, welcoming spot. Great food and even better company. We were even lucky enough to watch a sea turtle lay her eggs! My husband and I plan to come back to this house again. We just loved the whole experience.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
