I really enjoyed my stay at the Colonial Cottage. A lot of the other houses offered in the area were much larger and we didn't need that much space so we were glad to find this one. The place looked exactly as they do in the pictures -- it was clean, cozy, centrally located, and had everything we needed. I wish I could have stayed longer!Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We stayed at this cottage for a Labor Day weekend getaway and it certainly met our expectations based on the owners VRBO description. The cottage has been recently renovated and is very tastefully decorated, and has wireless broadband access and a 40" LCD TV connected to cable. All of the furnishings, appliances and decorations were in near new condition. We found the location excellent as it was centrally located in town, near the beach, boardwalk and restaurants. A very nice weekend and we would certainly stay here again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

The washer had mold in it. Many flies in the house. The bed sinks in the middle and was not comfortable. The beach is rocky. The one bedroom door hard to keep shut. Not many attractions nearby. I would not recommend this place to a friend or relative.Recommended for: Tourists without a car.
