Cinnamon Cottage is an adirondack cabin in a very private setting located in Historic Valle Crucis just two miles from famous General Mast Store and is situated on nearly two and a half acres of rolling lawn and pristine wooded areas, ideal for hiking and exploring during the Fall, Winter, and Spring Months. Perfect for honeymooners, romantic get-aways, or family vacations.
Cinnamon Cottage evokes the style of the early century and its height and cathedral ceiling were inspired by the simple elegance of nearby St. John's Episcopal Church. The cottage has a large loft with king-size bed, bathroom and TV with cable. A separate bedroom with a queen-size bed and second bathroom are located on the main floor. In case of larger parties, there is an inflatable queen size bed available. The living and dining area features a woodburning fireplace, TV, DVD, and CD player. The cottage has a fully-equipped kitchen and it is also equiped with central heat and air conditioning.
The wrap-around deck is nestled among the trees and overlooks the rolling lawn seeded with Apple, Maple, Black Walnut, Pine, old Elm trees, and a bi-level flagstone patio, for the ultimate in outdoor living. Rock on the swing, enjoy the hot tub on a star-filled night, prepare your meals on the barbecue and dine on the deck or patio or just sit on the porch and enjoy the cool, fresh mountain air at Cinnamon Cottage.
Cinnamon Cottage is just minutes from Banner Elk, Boone, Blowing Rock, Ski Slopes, and Grandfather Mountain. In addition, there are rivers and creeks for fishing, whitewater rafting, canoeing, and tubing. There are many nearby waterfalls and historical, charming towns to explore. Chadi Farms for horseback riding and carriage rides and Tweetsie Railroad, a Western Theme Park are both very popular area attractions. The beautiful and scenic Blue Ridge Parkway is also a short distance from Valle Crucis and offers breathtaking views and attractions along the way. Oh, and don't forget the wonderful restaurants and quaint shops in Boone and Blowing Rock.
