Villa in Sarasota close to Siesta Key.
This spacious villa is located at the tropical landscaped Village des Pins setting, and is the ideal location to have a superb holiday, whether you wish to wind down after Disney or use it as a base for exploring the Gulf Coast area of Florida. Here is everything you need on site and its surrounding area facilities.
There are two bedrooms. The master having a queen bed, walk in wardrobe/dressing area, ensuite bathroom and TV/DVD. The guest bedroom has 2 twin beds. There is also a family bathroom. Attached to the sitting room is a screened Lanai/sun room so you can sit in modern Adirondack-chairs outside and watch the sunrise or set, and the world go by.
There are also 2 single foldaway twin beds available that can be made up to accomodate 2 more guests if required. Max 6 persons/villa. Crib and high chair are also available.
Tennis and golfing equipment, as well as beach stuff for the children and beach chairs for their parents, are in the garage, ready to take along to Siesta Key Beach.
The kitchen has all usual appliances and also a washing machine, tumble dryer, and dishwasher.
The living room furniture and floor coverings are new, and the high vaulted ceilings and 1350sq ft of living space makes it feel very roomy and relaxing. It has a large 50' flat screen cable tv, dvd player and ipod dock.
Free Hi Speed WiFi Internet access and local telephone calls.
Fully air conditioned. Central atrium to allow natural light in the living area.
New bedroom carpets have been layed recently, along with repainting throughout internally, and new sun room/lanai furniture. Ceiling fans throughout the entire villa, including the lanai.
There are two dining areas ( breakfast and formal).
A large integral garage with electric door for ease of use. Parking for a second car if required outside the villa.
The villa is located in a quiet cul de sacs. The location is great for kids and they can play safely at the large heated pool/Jacuzzi or tennis courts and other activities on site. Free barbeque, both gas and charcoal fired, are at the picnic area overlooking the lake and feature fountain. Everything is on one level, so its easy to get about.
We want you to feel that this is your 'Home away from Home'. Friendly, safe, and relaxing location and just minutes from shopping/beaches/bars/restaurants/golf and a wide range of activities to suit all tastes. Sarasota is brimming with culture and the arts.
As we are private owner/renters, our prices are often much lower than 'managed villas'.
We also have a local agent to take care of minor problems and requests etc.
A folder 'A word of welcome' will give you a lot of further information; - what to do, - where to dine etc etc. You are as quests more than welcome to contribute with further information to the folder.

Perfect accomodations. Lots of space, quiet area and 15 minutes from the beach. Owner so accomodating and available to answer our questions.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.
Owner response: We are so happy to get in contact with our renters , as well as before and after the rental period of time. Only by listening to our tenants advises can we improve the facilities. So please keep on giving us hints.

Beautiful fully appointed villa in lush surroundings. The home was inviting and well equipped in every way. The furnishings were very nice and the overall feeling was cozy, comfortable and home-like. The home was clean and well cared for. The pool was wonderful and so were the delightful people we met during our stay. The location was excellent - we could walk to the mall and AMC shows as well as Costco - and the beach was about 2 miles away. Siesta Key Beach has to be one of the most beautiful beaches anywhere. There are many good restaurants close by and we were not disappointed. The Outlet Mall was about 25 minutes away by car. The owners were extremely nice and we had many conversations on Skype while booking and during our stay. We were so impressed that we have already book again for next year. I would certainly recommend the villa to our family and friends for a nice relaxing holiday.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities.

Vi har tilbragt en uge i jeres dejlige sommerhuset i Sarsota. Til folk, der har lyst til en afslappende ferie, er huset perfekt, Vi var afsted med vores 2 små børn på 1 og 3 år. Huset er meget børnevenligt, både højstol. babyseng og masser af plads. Ud over de børnevenlige ting, er det fedt med både vaskemaskine, tørretumbler samt stort veludstyret køkken. Poolen ligger kun 2 min gang fra huset, og her kan man nyde livet - både børn og voksne. I området Sarsota er der masser af ting at se på, 5 min gang fra huset ligger der et stort shopping mall, med både gode spise steder og biograf. Vi nød udflugter til Siesta Key - en kæmpe hvid sandstand - perfekt til afslapning; til Mixon Fruit Farms, en appelsinplantage med mini-zoo, hvor der var mulighed for at holde en slange, fodre et vildsvin og klappe en kæmpe skildpadde samt til en nationalparken, hvor vi var på alligator-safari i en Air boat. Min familie og jeg tilbragte en dejlig uge i jeres skønne "Vinterhus" Huset ligger i et meget roligt område, men tæt på både stranden, Siesta Key, samt indkøbsmuligheder i Westfield Mall, hvor der er alt hvad kredit kortet kan kapere. Vi spiller meget golf, og der er rigtig mange gode golfbaner tæt på. Ren afslapning er der også ved poolen, og vi glæder os til en længere ferie næste gang. Sorry, but my English cannot compete with my Danish. Top grade to the house. We stayed at the home in Sarasota for three weeks and enjoyed a perfect holiday and honeymoon! The house is comfortable, cosy and very nicely situated in a quiet area with a clean and nice pool area and shopping centers just around the corner. We enjoyed the full kitchen and the cosy "homie" living area and felt very much at home - we will not hesitate returning, if the opportunity comes! Sarasota is a relaxed and friendly city with the lovely historic downtown district, the huge shopping areas and the amazing Siesta Key Beach! - Florida´s number one beach - it really is! Moreover, Sarasota offers beautiful nature, museums - we stayed for three weeks and did not get bored!! We give our best recommendations to this house, because it is the perfect base for a holiday with relaxation as well as shopping, dining and experiencing in high quality.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
