...No problems, hope I had it tidy enough for you! (She did) My stay has honestly been great! The only extra things I've had to go out and buy are Kleenex and toilet paper (since she was there almost a month) it has really worked out perfectly! Spent labor day weekend here. Beautiful setting, comfortable, warm flat with everything one needs. Spent hours sitting by the lake, taking in the peaceful surroundings. The lake is home to many species of birds. Saw cranes, blue heron and a pair of osprey that nest in the wetlands there. Highly recommended for nature lovers or anyone that is looking for a place to recharge. Easy access to town and highway. Make sure you visit the New Belgium brewery. Thank you Scott and Val. Our stay at this property was perfect as we dropped our daughter off at Colorado State. The place seemed new and it was clean and very well decorated. Being right on the small lake made us feel priveleged. We used the paddle boat and enjoyed the snacks left by Scott and Val. We were able to use their car at a very fair price which took away all the need to deal with a rental car company. Scott took care of everything for us. He had several recommendations for nearby restaurants and activities. He even picked us up at the airport. It was truly full service. We are planning to come back again and look forward to staying there many times over the next years.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: Hi! We are Scott and Val, both Colorado natives who just celebrated our 35th anniversary. This apartment is in the house where we raised our 3 kids until we eventually down-sized and moved to the home next door. We didn't want to sell the house so we decided to convert it into a VRBO property after staying in several ourselves on family vacations.
