We went with a group of moms and from the moment we walked into the house everyone fell in love! The house is roomy, spacious and homey. Decor is great. We loved the open layout as everyone was always together whether cooking in the kitchen, sitting at the table or relaxing on couches. And the table is huge and conducive for fun conversations and games! All the rooms are spacious and there are extra beds in some of the rooms. There is a grand game room, but honestly we were outside so mich we didnt even use it. Lots of amenities inside the house. There is a bathroom with each bedroom and a half bath perfectly placed off the kitchen. Now the backyard and lake area!! We spent 95% of our time either sitting in chairs on the back porch taking in the view or on the top 2nd deck of the boat dock relaxing, reading, and talking. If we were on the porch or the top deck we were next to the fire pit :) Lots of grass so you don't feel crowded with the nice neighbors. Only constructive feedback we could provide is we are fine washing and leaving all used towels in dryer drying and starting the dishwasher, but having to wait until dryer and dishwasher is finished/dried and putting everything away is not conducive when you are trying to leave and check out. We are almost positive we will be back next year for our retreat and this place might become our forever retreat spot! And most of us will be bringing our families back too :) That is how much WE LOVED IT!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We rented the home for a girl's weekend get away. It was Perfect! There ended up being twelve of us . The number of bedrooms and bathrooms made it very comfortable for all of us. The views of the lake are fabulous. The large table made dining as a group fun and inclusive.The kitchen was perfect for our needs and we cooked every meal. Karen helped make our stay wonderful in every way she could. I would highly recommend this property and many of us would like to come back with our families.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Spent two nights at this property with 8 total guests and everyone had a great time. Perfect for large groups with great access to the lake and a huge deck. Only issue we had was the gas grill, which was not in great shape and not really suitable for cooking for a larger group. Everything else exceeded expectations. Several members of the group expressed an interest in coming back in the future.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
