ESCAPE TO PARADISE!
Relax on the lanai with a cup of coffee while watching the sun rise over the ocean! The breeze is warm and the colors are spectacular! This 3rd floor condo overlooks the gardens, the pool and the ocean! It is located in the Colony Cove Resort just minutes west of Christiansted.
BEDROOM ON THE OCEAN!
Colony Cove is an ocean front resort. This fully furnished 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo has a wonderful view out to the ocean. (See photos.) The master bedroom has large sliding glass doors that open onto the lanai. Feel the warm breeze right from your bed! There is a king size bed in the master bedroom and two twin beds in the guest room. They can be combined to accommodate a second couple.
LET'S GET WET!
Enjoy a cocktail at the Colony Cove pool and clubhouse. If you like more adventure, you can swim/snorkel right off of Colony Cove's beach. You can see tropical fish, sting rays, lobster, turtles and more right off the resort. There are also many other great locations on the island for snorkeling and diving. Local dive shops provide daily excursions.
GETTING HUNGRY?
There are two restaurants walking distance from the resort. Smugglers Cove is located right next to Colony Cove and offers great food and live entertainment. Breezes is just down the beach and sports and open air bar and more great food. Or, in just minutes, you can be in downtown Christiansted where there are some of the best restaurants anywhere.
LET'S HEAD INTO TOWN!
Colony Cove is just a couple minutes away from Christiansted by car. Relax on the board walk with a drink while listening to live music. The boardwalk overlooks Christiansted harbor where you will see boats of all kinds. There are also many specialty shops including local crafts, clothing, jewelry and more. A little something for everyone.

Colony Cove was such a great alternative to the resorts we stayed at before. This unit had everything we wanted to make our vacation perfect. We had a fully equipped kitchen,comfortable bedrooms, living room,dining area,TV and internet,Even pool stuff and snorkel gear. The condo was clean,nicely decorated and comfortable. It was easy to pretend that we lived there,LOL.The view from the balcony was amazing. Palm trees and crystal blue water. There is a nice pool and beautiful gardens. We picked fresh bananas right off a tree by the pool. The kids loved playing on the beach and snorkeling right out front, no need to even drive for great snorkeling. Colony Cove is close enough to town to be convenient for dining and shopping but nestled down on the beach for privacy.The neighbors were friendly and directed us to cool stuff like Buck Island Charters,the Tidal Pools,Rum Factory and great places to eat. We will definately be back next year !Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

My wife and I recently stayed in this unit in Colony Cove. It was right on the water and had a spectacular view of the ocean from the lanai. The unit was clean and comfortable and everything worked. We especially liked the master bedroom. It had sliding doors that opened to the lanai. Always had a nice ocean breeze. It is just a few minutes from Christiansted and we made several trips into town. Our hosts, Scott & Julie, were nice enough to send us recommendations of things to do so we new what to look for. We would recommend a car if you want to explore the island. We did and it was well worth it. The complex is also very nice. There are beautiful gardens all over the property. You can snorkel/swim right off the beach. Lots and fish and other sea creatures. My wife went in everyday. Overall we loved St Croix and Colony Cove and plan to return some day. We made several new friends while we were there. We would recommend it to anyone considering a trip to the Virgin Islands. Hope this review was helpful. About the owner: Julie and I have been married for 30 years now. Julie is a registered nurse and Scott recently retired from Hewlett Packard. We visit St Croix several time a year. We like to swim, snorkel, drink rum and eat at the many great restaurants on the island.
Why the Owner Chose Christiansted:
Julie and I visited the island in 2004 and stayed at Colony Cove. We enjoyed it so much that we bought two units.
