Newly renovated with a Designer’s touch, Casa Hunter-Hart is serene and beautifully appointed. Of course we also include the latest in electronics: Two Satellite Flat Screens, WiFi, iPod sound system in the master Bedroom and even a Marguerita Machine!
You can entertain or just relax. Have lunch on the Balcony, or doze in the Hammock as you decide how to enjoy your stay.
You might decide to sample the delights of Casa del Mar's beautiful grounds, and 5 Star amenities such as its Private Beach, Spa, Restaurants, Tennis and Golf.
Or, since Casa del Mar is centered right between Lively Cabo San Lucas and Arty San Jose del Cabo you can create your own personal vacation. Shop, Zip Line, Fish, Sail, enjoy all kinds of Musical Entertainment, learn Spanish, or Dine overlooking the magnificent Sea of Cortez at Sunset. We will happily provide you with many personal recommendations. We also are delighted to have a local, wonderful, English speaking Manager who can assist you.
Quite frankly, the only difficulty we have ever encountered in this special place is...leaving.

I spent a wonderful 8 days at this condo. It was a great place to get away and relax. The condo is set back a short distance from the beach, so the view from the balcony includes the colorful and beautifully-landscaped grounds, then the beach, and then the Sea of Cortez. We loved sitting on the balcony, looking out over this great view toward the water, watching for whales. We spent hours walking along the beach, as well as around Casa del Mar and the nearby area. We made the short drive into San Jose del Cabo several times for dinner, or ordered from the hotel that is right next to the condo. We spent an afternoon nearby in Cabo San Lucas shopping and sightseeing, and there is lots of activity there if relaxing is not your first priority. The property was exactly as described in the listing. It was spotless. In fact the entire area was beautifully maintained. I can't wait to get my girlfriend to go there with me for a week in another world.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

What can I say, the place was FANTASIC. We spend a relaxing week; I wish we could have stayed longer. The condo was well stocked and comfortably furnished. The location is great, not crowded, four very nice pools and a hot tub. I especially enjoyed the swim-up bar, the staff was great and the bartenders lots of fun. Even if you like the action of Cabo san Lucas it would be worth renting a car and staying here. It’s close to Cabo San Juan, which I find more authentic with great restaurants and bars. If you’re into Golf you can’t beat the location. If you get the chance try the Sunset Jazz + Wine Cruise at Lands End. The food/wine is great and what a view of Lands End. The Sunset Da Mona Lisa is a very romantic restaurant with a hell of a view. We are delighted with the spacious condo, awesome balcony and you get a beautiful view of the ocean. I highly recommend the condo, you can’t go wrong.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

When I go on vacation I just want to relax and this condo gives me exactly that. I have stayed in this condo 4 times in the last 4 years and I always look forward to the updates and added amenities that the owners have done since my last stay. The photos show just what you get in this beautiful setting. The description is spot on and every amenity that you might need is provided. The condo is very clean and well maintained. This place could not be more comfortable. The property is very safe and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to my Mother. With Casa Del Mar being situated in the middle of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo on the corridor it is ideal if you want to split your vacation between the nightlife of Cabo and the charm of San Jose. I prefer to hit up the Mega in San Jose on my way in from the airport and stock up for my stay, but this is not necessary as the bar and restaurant in the hotel are very good.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

This is a great condo on magnificent, private grounds and immediately overlooking the ocean. You have everything you need to completely remove yourself from everyday life. We love this place, because it's away from the primary tourist areas, and therefore far more relaxing than the standards in Cabo San Lucas and/or San Jose del Cabo. It's an easy run from the airport, and we always stop off at the Mega on the way to stock up on groceries. We've been going back to this property every year since 2009, and will continue as long as it's available. It's hard to believe we consistently get see watch whales and flying fish, ... from the balcony. Oh, yeah, and it really doesn't hurt that you get access to a world-class resort on the same property. Restaurants, bars, pools, gym, tennis, massages, etc are just a walk across the courtyard.Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

About the owner: My husband Ian and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. We have both been involved in the High Tech Industry most of our careers and I am also a Real Estate Stager and Designer. We both treasure quiet, lovely places to escape, but still require easy accessibility to the Internet and our favorite TV shows. Therefore, Casa Hunter-Hart is 'all of the above'. While Casa Hunter-Hart has always been our private get away, we are lately less able to spend as much time there as we would like, so we decided this year to make it available for others to enjoy.
Why the Owner Chose Casa del Mar:
My husband Ian and I fell in love with Baja Sur on a vacation seven years ago. As we have no children, traveling and exploring other cultures is our passion.
We were lucky enough to be able to purchase our own dream place by the Sea of Cortez about five years ago.
Ian and I had a lot of fun researching the Cabo area and decided that the Corridor and Casa del Mar were perfection.
The Corridor is Private and gives the added benefit of easy access to both San Jose del Cabo, a lovely artistic town, and the energy of the nightlife in Cabo San Lucas.
Casa del Mar is a 5 Star Boutique Hotel and Resort with large, beautifully established grounds, wonderful staff and every desired amenity. It is quiet, safe (24 Hour Security) and infinitely charming.
Our extensive renovations to first open up the Main floor (by removing a wall to maximize the Ocean View) and then totally Modernize the Property were finished just this year.
We also enjoy the Privacy afforded by our Penthouse.
