3rd floor Outer Banks condo with deck overlooking the community pool and the town of Kill Devil Hills, including the Wright Brothers National Memorial -- and yes, you can see the Ocean Waves from the deck!
A secured building with elevator access, Hughes Retreat Condos are located at the 9 ½ mile post. Community features include a large pool, 2 park grills, picnic tables and covered parking.
Escape from Reality is located between the roads and guests cross the 2 lane Beach Road to access the beach, an easy walk to a public beach access and centrally located near shopping and excellent family restaurants. Amenities include: 4 TVs, DVD, DVD library, stereo, high speed internet access (please bring your own laptop), books, beach cart, beach chairs, boogie boards and booster seat. Covered parking space and ground floor storage closet for your beach items. Outside shower.
Coming in 2013 - Flat screen tv's in all rooms. New deck furniture and several other additional amenities.
Non-Smoking. No Pets.
Beds: 2 Kings, Pyramid Bunk with Trundle and Queen Sleeper Sofa. A starter set of toilet paper, paper towels and hand soaps is provided.
Short Stays (less than a week) are available at this Outer Banks vacation rental home; there is a 3 night minimum. During Holiday Weeks like Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years, we can be very flexible with check in days. For example; you may be able to rent from a Wednesday to Wednesday or Monday to Monday.
We know it's important to stay connected. We offer free wireless (or wired) internet service (computer not included) at no additional charge. Please keep in mind the Outer Banks often experiences downtime with this service and it can take multiple days to resolve issues when they occur.

Very comfortable. Clean, newer furniture, loved the beds, slept like a baby! Great location to everything especially the beach, just a walk across the street, yet far enough off the road so you don't hear or see the traffic. Looking forward to staying there again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Had a great time at "the Escape" Very comfortable beds, the new sofa's were a nice surprise (the pictures shows chairs) very modern and clean. great weather-mid 50's- so the deck was a big plus. Drove the beach and did some fishing, beach access was close along with everything else. A great price for a great place. We'll be backRecommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Tenant will be responsible for any discounts extended to re-rent the property. Once re-rented, all payments (excluding trip cancellation insurance premium and $50 cancellation fee) will be refunded. Please note: Nonpayment of any deposits or balances due may result in reservation cancellation.
