We loved our short stay at the lake. It is an incredible view over the lake and the cottage is awesome. It was comfortable and very cozy. It is a wonderful place to just "get away". Austin and Grace were very accomadating. We even lost our keys and didnt realize it until 10:00pm that night. Austin came out and hand delivered a new key to us. OK, first the few drawbacks to this cottage. No TV or Wi-Fi connection. Also, the cell reception (w/Verizon) is bad inside the cottage but good outside on the porch. Also, there is a 1/2 mile dirt road hill you need to go up & and down to get to the cottage off the main road. We have a Toyota RAV 4 so no problem but i probably wouldn't take a sports car to the cottage. IF you can live with that this is THE perfect getaway on Finger Lakes for the price. the view of the lake from the porch is absolutely stunning!! the owners just built a large deck so you can sit, relax & enjoy the view. I would probably bring a couple of folding chairs, there is a wooden bench swing (minor point) The cottage was very clean and updated, included everything you need!. Even a nice jar of cookies waiting for us from the owners! Large kitchen, and bath. a queen bed in the 1 bedroom. a perfect size for a couple looking for peace and quiet and a nice weekend getaway. about 10 miles to Watkins Glen (you must go to the park/gorge if you are a nature lover). Also, very close to all of the wineries if thats your thing. We were there during the peak Fall foilage time and it was very beautiful! Again, would definitely recommend this place.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our stay at the Cozy Cottage was a wonderful way to getaway. We enjoyed the view from the cottage and the dock. This is in a great location to visit places around Seneca Lake and not far from Keuka Lake. The only caution is the driveway is steep and rocky. We had a large SUV without 4 wheel drive and were able to make it up the hill in lower gears. Not sure how the driveway is after heavy rains. There is not much in the cottage to entertain yourself. Be sure to bring things to do if you want. We enjoyed the seclusion from the road and other people. So the lack of modern electronics was actually nice.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

Cozy cottage is exactly as pictured. Perfect for a couple. Immaculate and comfortable. Kitchen is fully stocked. It's a great location on Seneca Lake. Centrally located to wineries, Geneva and Watkins Glen. The views from the cottage and the huge dock is beautiful. The blue moon provided a spectacular show over Labor Day weekend. Two amenities not listed: a fire pit and boat lift, both add value to this little home away from home. Manager was very receptive and attentive to our needs.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
