Also there is a wider choice of everything in nearby Lagos many set within the cobbled streets of the quaint old town.

The apartment is set on a headland in a national park between Luz and Burgau.The area is very tranquill but within easy reach of all your modern needs. The town of Luz ( 4 mins by car ) has a stunning sandy bay and picturesque promonade with shops, banks and many places to eat and drink.
Burgau is a small fishing village also with a lovely sandy beach set within a bay and some great fish restaurants.
Within a short distance are several other excellent beaches.
Lagos has a large marina, beaches and a quaint old town with cobbled streets and a wide choice of places to eat and drink.
A short drive away are several excellent golf courses the nearest is Boa Vista less than 10 mins by car.
Within Porto Dona Maria ia a Golf Driving Range.
The apartment is an easy 60 min. drive from Faro airport along the A22 which is a dual carrigeway.
The A22 which runs the length of the Algarve does not get busy and is very well sign poste

About the owner: We are just a normal family who for many years dreamed of owning our own place in the sun. After travelling the globe constantly looking for the perfect place we discovered this lovely part of Portugal. Our family consists of ourselves, elderly parents, children with young grandchildren who all want different things from a holiday. The Western Algarve and our apartment pleases everyone.We have holidayed many times in self catering properties so we used our experiences when we purchased and equipped our property.
Why the Owner Chose Burgau: We loved the part of the Algarve as it is still charming but at the same time has all the modern conveniences. The restaurants that serve wonderful food are stiil owned and run by the Portuguese. Within easy reach are many lovely sandy beaches to visit. Even in high season our location remains a quiet haven to be enjoyed.
