Let's face it, when you come to visit Maui, it is all about the beach. My name isn't Conde Nast, but in my opinion the BEST beach on West Maui is in front of the Eldorado. Just on the North side of Black Rock you will find a nearly empty beach with a private cabana. When you have less crowds, you see more fish and turtles as you snorkel. Black Rock blocks the big summer waves that crash onto the beach in South Kaanapali. Best of all you get to enjoy the ONLY private, on the sand cabana on Maui.
