A wonderful property for a relaxing stay
A wonderful property for a relaxing stay
I just wanted to take a moment to thank Daniel for the use of the Warwick Valley Farm last week. The property was incredible and exactly what we needed. We had a wonderful time staying at the house. The rooms were so comfortable and the living room/kitchen made us all feel right at home. It was delightful to grill up a family dinner and sit at the table after a long day. Also, Quill was very helpful in answering our questions. It was so sweet of her to bring by the farm fresh eggs on our last night. Overall the farm is a lovely, calming location for a family gethering. We can't thank you enough!

Loveliness in the Details!
My husband and I rented this beautiful home for ourselves and family members to attend ceremonies during the West Point graduation, and to attend our daughter's wedding at the chapel at West Point. From booking the home to receiving our deposit back in a timely manner, the owner was great to work with and left several recommendations for things to do in the area. Being an hour from USMA was wonderful. We could get there quickly on picturesque roads and truly felt we had arrived at an oasis of peace as we would return to the farm each evening. The home is spotless and comfortable; the open floor plan meant no one felt left out of the action if he/she was preparing meals. The central air conditioning was a blessing on the humid days and every room in the house was equally lovely. We took walks around the spacious grounds along the mowed paths and saw all sorts of wildlife. We were literally five minutes or less from the Appalachian Trail and we enjoyed the farmer's markets, brick oven pizza restaurants, and coffee houses in Vernon and Warwick. Although our youngest family member was 19, the boys enjoyed taking turns on the double bounce trampoline and gathering around the Foosball table. We all enjoyed meals around the large farm table and the views from the house of the surrounding area. The lemon thyme planted between the patio stones lifted a lovely fragrance as we walked or sat outside in the cool evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Owner response: Donna! Thank you so much for this review! It is so fulfilling to hear. I am so happy the wedding and stay was enjoyable. We have loved building and getting this property ready for ourselves and the appreciation of discerning and lovely guests like you all make it such a great experience. Although as an extended family we have two other VRBO properties (Sols Cliff in Bar Harbor Maine and Villa Beatrice in Ischia Italy,) that we have rented for many years, this is the first time we have rented Warwick Valley Farm. You and your lovely family made it such a great experience that we hope its the first of many. Thank you so much!
