  Our extended family of 8 adults and 3 children stayed at Mickey's House from 4/9/13 to 4/13/13. The house was exactly as pictured and very well maintained. We especially liked the private pool and hot tub after a long day at Disneyland.

  This house is so great we didn't want to leave. There's plenty of room for sleeping and just hanging out together. The outdoor space is fantastic--pool, and a great patio with a bar and fantastic grill. We spent a lot of time out there-- and you could see the Disney fireworks! Everything you can think of is there-- strollers, rain ponchos, pool toys. The location is great. It is walkable to the park but we just drove people over and dropped off in the Downtown Disney lot. Everything was sparkly clean and and in good repair. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe. I would highly recommend this house for a great family time!

  We loved this home! It was very clean and in a great location near Disneyland. From now on, we are renting a house instead of a hotel - so much better! The Castle House Crew was easy to work with and communicate with. We really enjoyed ourselves and had a wonderful family reunion. My daughter was so excited that 15 minutes after we arrived she ran up to me and said "Mom, there are so many toys, I'm so happy, I don't know what to play with first."

  This house is really perfect for large families or groups. It has everything to keep the kids entertained, and open enough to give the adults some space too! We had 6 adults and 5 kids here, with LOTS of room to spare. The pool is perfect, and we used the BBQ regularly. I have lots of experience as a property owner and as a home exchanger, and the communication was excellent too. We had made a few suggestions for improvements, (minor) that were already being dealt with. The house is walking distance to DL, but we had our own system. 1 person was driver, 1 minivan that we dropped everyone off with, then the driver walked to DL to join us. it was really quick, and a little easier than getting tired 5 year olds to walk 25 minutes.... It is a nice walk to DL though, about 20-25 minutes. I would definitely recommend this property. In the end, it saved us TONS OF $$$. We went to Cosco for our food and packed lunches and snacks. We even used their crockpot for when we returned from DL! Cheesecake factory was great for the one night out that we budgeted for, it accommodated a large party. Really a great place to stay, so much more fun, spacious, cheaper than a hotel!

  This house was perfect for us. We loved the Disney themes, especially all the incredible hand painted murals. My grandchildren were so excited to sleep in the Cars and the Fairies rooms! The walk to Disneyland was easy for us with our youngest children in strollers. We loved the pool and hot tub and having them gated was especially important to us. The rooms were all comfortable, the house was clean and we had plenty of space to be together. We highly recommend Mickey's House and will definitely be back soon!

  First of all, I am a pretty harsh rater. The home was great for our family reunuion that included a 2 and 4 year old, a preteen, two teens and 8 adults. Plenty of room, great kitchen, comfortable beds and the decor was awesome. The bathroom situation is a bit tight but we made it work. Their was an issue with the pool heater so we were not able to use the pool or spa. The person working on the pool heater did not turn the gas back on when they left and, consequently, no hot water for the first night there. The propane tank was also empty. Both issues were quickly remedied by the owners and were not a major impact on our stay. The pool heater never did work well so we could not use the pool or spa and the owners agreed to refund what we paid to have the pool heated. It is a 15-20 minute walk to the park. We did not have an issue with this but keep this fact in mind for small children. In short, I would definitely recommend this property for families and I would stay there again.

  The home was clean and the atmosphere was wonderful. The location was great and it was easy to communicate with the owners. Our overall stay was excellent. The kids were happy so parents were happy! Everyone loved the theme through out the house.  It was entertaining and everything in the house was functional for our daily needs.

  The home felt just like that... a "home"! It was so great to be on vacation and be in such a comfortable environment. Things were very easy to find and there were plenty of towels, dishes, etc to use. The location couldn't have been better! It was close enough for us to walk to Disneyland, but in a nice neighborhood with extremely thoughtful neighbors. The landlords worked so well with us on this last minute booking. They were available when I needed them and extremely courteous and kind throughout the entire process.

  My daughter, son-in-law and 4 granddaughters came in from North Pole Alaska for Thanksgiving, so it was time for an entire family trip. Great place for a family vacation with Grandma, Grandpa, 3 of our children, one son-in-law and 6 grandkids. Of course, the girls called dibbs on the fairie's room and the 2 grandsons checked out the pirate's room. The rest of us were more than comfortable in the rest of the rooms. The owner's provided a notebook with numerous grocery stores listed, maps to attractions and even medical locations.....which came in handy with the 2 year old was playing with his cousins in the princess room, tripped and fell against the queen bed, just perfectly hitting his upper eyebrow on the bed sideboard, requiring 7 stitches Sunday evening (till 2am Monday morning). Our plan was to start Disney on Monday and thought he would be crabby, but it didn't slow him down one bit (he is ALL boy). We paid for the pool and hot tub to be heated and it was a welcome site for the all tired limbs after the 10am-8pm Disney outings. The house, pool and yard was expertly clean with plenty of towels, pool towels, linens for our use. Would definately stay there again - everything was WONDERFUL!!
