Located a short walk from Goose Rocks Beach, the Happy Daze cottage has privacy but is ideally located within the community. The Goose Rocks Beach Community House sits directly behind the cottage and has four tennis courts and many activities for kids and adults throughout the summer. The beach is a hidden gem in Southern Maine, stretching for nearly 3 miles and offering pristine white sand for all to enjoy! It is ideal for long walks, and kids love the wide expanse of flat sand at low tide which is perfect for making castles, playing baseball, and lots more. The Goose Rocks General Store keeps you stocked with basics, and the Tides Inn hotel/bar provides nightlife within walking distance. A short drive takes you to the local ice cream stand, world class restaurants, kayaking, shopping, lobster and so much more.
Our three bedroom cottage is newly renovated, with one queen bed, two full beds and two twin beds. The fully appointed kitchen includes a lobster pot and all the fixings for a classic Maine lobster dinner! The sun room adds even more space for your family to spread out, and the large back deck makes an ideal setting for outdoor BBQs and meals. The cottage includes a washer and dryer, dishwasher, outdoor shower, charcoal grill, cable TV and wireless internet, DVD player, beach chairs, and charm galore!

About the owner: We currently live in Belmont, MA and have been coming to Goose Rocks Beach for 15 years. Southern Maine and GRB have become a second home for us - the one constant as our family has moved from Massachusetts to Philadelphia, New Jersey and finally back to the Boston area.

Our cottage is located just steps from the Goose Rocks Beach Community House, which is a center of activity at the beach. The Community House has four tennis courts, basketball, playground and numerous activities for kids and adults. The 4th of July parade, 5K race and carnival takes place at the Community House, as well as a day camp, pancake breakfast, movie nights, tennis lessons, tennis tournaments, men's and women's tennis groups, and more.
