Perfect Home Away From Home
Perfect Home Away From Home
Visited this property for a week with my husband, three kids (ages 7-13), parents and uncle. The villa is very spacious and well-laid out. Lots of privacy and the furniture is quite comfy. The unit is situated in the corner of the building, which lends to spectacular 180 degree views (more later). It also means that the unit is particularly noise-insulated. The kitchen is roomy and well-supplied. We ate almost all of our breakfasts and lunches there, and then walked to one of the many nearby restaurants for dinner. Back to the view: we spent hours just sitting on the balcony watching the whales jump like fireworks in July. We must have seen hundreds of them. The balcony faces west, so we had beautiful sunsets to watch every evening. The beach right in front is not particularly great for swimming or snorkeling, but it was didn't matter too much because the pools are great fun--we spent many hours in them. And for snorkeling, some of the best Hawaii snorkeling I've ever done is a pleasant 10 minute walk north of the Marriott to Black Rock. I even heard whales singing while snorkeling there one day. We most definitely hope to come back to stay here again. Lots of things to do and everyone in my family voted this villa as one of the top most comfortable and lovely places we have stayed.

There were 5 of us (over 50 ~ 2 couples and a single) and we stayed for one week and wished we had booked longer! There is so much to do in this area. The web site accurately describes the 3 bedroom/3 bathroom unit both in words and photos. There was plenty of space. We never felt crowded and each bedroom was spacious with their own TV's and DVD players. The suite was immaculate. I'm a fussy housekeeper and I couldn't find one bit of dust or lint. The bedding was fresh and new and the beds comfy (mine was and I was told the others were!) The furniture was all comfy, not too worn and had bright cheerful colors. We ate our breakfasts and lunches in the unit but (by preference) had our dinners out. There are many restaurants within walking distance and a great variety in close proximity by car. The covered parkade is handy and convenient for unloading groceries, suitcases etc. There were 2 elevators and we never had to wait. Also the garbage disposal area (environmentally friendly) was just down the hall, well organized and clean. The view from the main living area was spectacular ~ facing west so seeing the setting sun each day! The air conditioning very easy to operate to your personal comfort. It was fabulous opening the balcony sliding door and hearing the waves crashing in!! Such great memories! The grounds have everything you need depending on your preference ~ grassed areas in the shade/sun and the lovely pools with many umbrellas, tables, chairs plus the multiple lawn chairs. There's beautiful walkways, a little bridge and waterfalls so you can hear the water while relaxing in the sun/shade. I loved that part! There's a paved walking path out front that follows the ocean and takes one hour walking at a good clip twice. The Whalers Village is only a 10 minute walk away and there you can find many high end shops and diverse restaurants in the 2 level mall. We saw many families there ~ most with younger children. I don't remember seeing many teenagers. There were many fun areas for the children with their parents and I personally was never bothered with noise. It was fun watching the families together. Each morning a Dad would take his little girl out to the grassed area and play ball with her ~ then they'd relax on one of the hammocks! I also saw children playing with their parents on the beach ~ making sand castles. We enjoyed our stay so much we've already booked 2 weeks for next year!! Yahoo!!

Owner response: Wow, I should have had your help writing the copy! Thank you for the feedback and wonderful detail info. Glad you'll be able to make it again next year!
This condo is absolutely fantastic. The rooms are very spacious, decor is nice and it is well insulated from hallway or neighbor noise. We left the windows open when going to bed and the sound of the waves just lulls you to sleep. The views are fantastic, the grounds are lush, and walking on the seaside path from one end of Kaanapali beach to the other is so relaxing. Whallers village with over 50 shops and several restaurants is just walking minutes away. We absolutely loved this condo, it's location and everything else that there was to offer. So much so that we have just booked this condo again for two weeks next year instead of one.

A Must Stay in Maui
A Must Stay in Maui
This 3 bedroom ocean front condo along with the property it sits on will exceed your expectations!! Our family has been traveling to Maui for the last 5 years and have always enjoyed a week at the Marriott Maui Ocean Club and a second week off property. We love the property so much that we decided on a two week stay this year. We booked through Jay (the owner) and were met with quick responses to our emails and enjoyed dealing with him. We have stayed in the two bedroom units before, but this was our first time in a 3 bedroom with the ocean front view. The condo is spacious to say the least and the 3rd bedroom has its own entrance. The lanai overlooks the ocean with an unobstructed view so you can whale watch and take in the beautiful sunsets. The condo is well equipped and very comfortable from the beds and bedding to the kitchen. You are steps from Kaanapali beach, beautiful pools, and many restaurants that you can walk to. The friendly staff, well equipped gym and activities at the resort make it the perfect place for our family! It was tough to leave and we will be back! Thank you Jay for letting us experience Maui at its best!!

Fabulous stay and amazing views!!!
Fabulous stay and amazing views!!!
We were more than delighted with our stay at the Lahaina Tower. It was very easy to book our unit and we were more than pleased with all amenities that are offered on this property. We had my father with us as well as a girlfriend and the unit worked well with such a mixed group.....everyone had their own room and there was lots of room for us to share. The unit is very well equipped to make all your meals but the restaurants along the beach offer lots of options for those who choose not to cook . I would not hesitate in booking this unit again.....and hope to do so again soon. Thanks for a great opportunity!!!!

Even Better Than We Expected!
Even Better Than We Expected!
This property has everything you want for your stay in Maui: - Large, relaxing living space - High-end finishes, upgraded sheets, pillows and comfortable amenities throughout - Breathtaking ocean AND garden views (two private balconies) - Easy access to the pool, beach, restaurants, bars and gardens - Plenty of room--this place is big and spacious - Full kitchen with stove, oven and large refrigerator (great for making your own meals) - True oceanfront villa--we would open the windows at night and listen to the waves while falling asleep Maui Vacation With Children If you are planning a vacation with kids, look no further... this is the place. Not only is it right on the beach--it also has the best pool in Kaanapali and features a Pirate Ship in the pool! Our 2 girls (5 and 3 years old) spent countless hours swimming and playing. It's great for kids: - Three separate pools - Staff are very welcoming and nice to the children - Plenty of toys and activities for kids - Kids menus at the pool bar and other restaurants *This villas is big enough to send the kids to another room (for peace and quiet!) Kaanapali My family and I really enjoyed Kaanapali. The Marriott is one of a dozen or so hotels in Kaanapali. There is a great walking path out front... we went on walks each morning. A person really does not need to leave the resort. But, if you decide to venture out, there is plenty to do: - Great shopping and restaurants - Whale watching--we had an amazing time on our whale watch! - Golf--there is a golf course right in front of the Marriott - Surfing I highly recommend staying here. It is a vacation you will not soon forget! As I said in the title, it was SO much better than we expected. Can't wait to get back to Kaanapali soon!

Why the Owner Chose Marriott's Maui Ocean Club:
This is an absolutely amazing location. I don't think there's a closer oceanfront property than the Lahaina Tower within all of Kaanapali. This 6th floor villa offers breath taking panoramic views from every room to watch the sunsets and all the whales that are around during this time period!
