Unit is cute and in great neighborhood. Wasn't spotless but pretty clean. One roll of TP and almost no soaps of any kind. Went right out and bought hand soap, dish and DW soap. Plus TP and tissues. Cookware didn't have any lids. Bought and left behind wine glasses and a corkscrew as there were neither. Family was in the upstairs unit but the kids were young...4-7? So once they went were done playing, about 7, it quieted down. Would have been rough if they had been in late teens or young group partying late. And we did find one huge roach in the kitchen one evening! But only saw that one in 6 days.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

It was fair value for the price, but there's a unit above with lots of noise from little kids and a dad who yelled at them a lot...not a lot of peaceful vibes there. Things like window sills, tops of window sashes and baseboards really needed cleaning, especially the windows where dust settles were filthy. Positives--cute neighborhood, dining and shopping and beach all walkable from "cottage" Parking on street easy to find.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

This was simply a cute place! Would love to stay here everytime i am visiting my daughter in Long Beach.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Overall the property was very nice. The interior pictures of the property were accurate. The pictures of the house are misleading. I was under the impression from that ad that we were staying in the house that is pictured in the last two photos of the listing. Technically we were, but we were not in the big house that is shown in the photos, we were in a two bedroom apartment around the back of the house. Access is through a gate in the back yard. I'm pretty sure that the big house that is shown in the pictures is subdivided into 3 properties. First time that we tried this service and once we got over the disappointment of not actually staying in the house that was pictured. We were fine.Did you find this review helpful?
