            This was a nice house and easy to find. The house was clean, but like the other reviews the living room furniture was a little uncomfortable. This house did have a great location, right in the middle of a lot of the activities on the east side of the island. We were a little disappointed that the grill was under the house and would have to pull it out to use it if it wasn't all rusted out. I was also really disappointed about the ocean. The ad stated that the beach was a block away. However, there is no public access. So if you are OK with trespassing (and we were!) there are trails on some of the undeveloped lots. I picked this house based on the fact that the house was close to the ocean. I knew that there wouldn't be a beach, but was disappointed that there was no access to the ocean.

            Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers.

All of the ocean cliffs/beaches in Hawaii is public access, but yes, you do have to be careful where and how you access the ocean cliffs. There is no problem with accessing undeveloped lots to get to the ocean's edge. If I had known there was a problem with the BBQ grill, a quick call to us and I could have had that taken care of for you in a jiffy.             This house had an excellent location. The furniture and bed are not very comfortable. Appliances could use some updating. Beautiful well maintained yard. Very quiet and peaceful.

            Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers.

We have guests who continuously come to this cottage year after year. I think it is subjective on the comfort of the bed. I have never had anyone complain before. The appliances are in good working condition.
