Atlantic Beach house description
You will find a clean, comfortable, relaxed home, just steps from the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a direct view of the ocean from the master bedroom, living room and roof top deck to start and end your day the island way. You can watch the sun rise & set and even see dolphins swimming and jumping in the waves close to the shore.
There is a full kitchen equipped with everything you need; a breakfast bar with stools plus a dining table, washer, dryer and dish washer. The kitchen is open to the living area which has a comfortable sofa, an oversized chair/ottoman, side chair, a TV, and a DVD player. There are games and cards for quiet times, too.
The master bedroom has a king bed and private bath. The second bedroom offers a twin bed and oversized chair that converts to a twin sleeper.
There is also an enclosed outside shower and dressing area for post-beach clean-up!
All linens are included. The unit has WiFi, TV, and DVD player. TV's in LR and both bedrooms.
This area has a great deal to offer for everyone in the family. There are deep sea fishing/ocean charters available on the causeway and in Morehead City, pier fishing, a short walk down the beach, recently upgraded beach public access that is handicapped accessible with play area & bath house, surf fishing, boat rentals, kayak rentals , bike rentals, jet skiing, and para-sailing. The Rachel Carson Preserve is also nearby. Water Taxi boats leave from both Beaufort and Morehead City to the barrier islands [Shackelford Banks and the Cape Lookout Light House and National Seashore] for beautiful excursions that include seeing the native wild Horses, shelling, fishing, birding, camping, lighthouse climbing, and touring historic villages as well as the working Cape Lookout Light House. The whole family will enjoy a day on the water.
Or plan a trip to Harkers Island to see the Core Sound Waterfowl Museum with beautiful hand carved Duck Decoys or the Cape Lookout National Seashore Visitors Center. If you prefer a ferry ride, take the ferry from Cedar Point to Ocarcoke, a quaint, charming island/village that is accessible by water only. For those that prefer dry land, there are plenty of cute shops and restaurants with delicious local seafood. Start the day at the Fort Macon State Park exploring the Fort and visitors center, then have a delicious seafood lunch and head to the Aquarium for a cool afternoon learning about local sea life and coastal history. The gift shop here is one of the best around!
This is the perfect beach getaway for you and your family. The is plenty to do for each family member or just relax and watch the waves roll in from your deck, It is so comfortable and relaxing you will not want to go home! Honestly the pictures don't do it justice.

We had a great time. Condo was perfect and everything was just as described. The views from the decks were amazing. Pictures of the condo were right on target, but we were surprised how much more beautiful it really was. The property was very clean and maintained well. we had no issues with the place at all. Communication with owners prior to stay was perfect. They were easy to get in touch with any of the questions we had. The short walk to the beach/ocean was real nice, especially with 3 young children. Fort Macon is close by for a nice 1/2 day trip and there was a place to have a picnic as well. There are places for mini golf, go-cart, pirate adventures near by, but we weren't able to get it all in before we left. Our main purpose of our stay was to spend time at the beach/ocean, so that is all we did besides the Fort. We had a blast and will be going back next summer. Very sad to have to leave. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to stay at the beach.

Great place for a family vacation!
Great place for a family vacation!
We enjoyed this place so much! The view is incredible, the house was clean and comfortable. We spent most of our time there on the back deck, watching the surfers and the boats in the distance. The owners are very easy to work with and did everything to make sure we enjoyed our stay! It's a short walk to the beach and has its own outdoor shower. We highly recommend this rental, you won't regret it!

Communication with the owners was excellent and they were very responsive when we had a couple of questions mid week. The place was clean and exactly as described. Beach is a 2 minute walk away from a path right behind the unit. The beach and ocean is in clear view and you can hear the ocean from the nice deck with comfortable chairs. Nice view from the master bedroom as well. Kitchen amenities, gas grill good, and TV, DVD and WIFI all worked perfectly. Close to everything, but does not feel crowded. The fort is a few minutes away and a great place if you are looking for a quiet walk with great views of the water. Watch for Sarah - a retired neighbor who lives there year round and came and introduced herself and offered assistance. We will definitely rent again!
