This residence was the most perfect place to draw inspiration. For my husband, it was the photographic opportunity. For me, as a writer, the property and the surrounding area provided plenty of background scenery and location.

Owner response: Thank you to you both. Yes Villa Jacaranda is a place for everybody! You can have just a spot to seat down ,relax, write, meditate, take a siesta or walk around with excitement, taking pictures of flowers, swallows giving them selves an afternoon bath in the swimming pool and many other birds chirping all around. The scenery also is spectacular for any person that just enjoys being there surrounded by natural beauty. Best regards , Teresa/ Villa Jacaranda
Living in a dream
Living in a dream
Cuernavaca is more beautiful than I could have ever imagined, and this villa encapsulates the sense of serenity and brilliance that gives the town it's name, "City of Eternal Spring." Imagine for a moment waking up each morning and opening your window to a view of the majestic volcano, Popocatepetl, purplish-red and so close you'd think you could reach out your hand and feel its side. You walk out on the terrace and hear life stirring, birds singing... you look beyond the immediate red-tiled roofs and feel the pulse of a village nestled in the hills. The verdant hills seem like they're breathing, and as you inhale and exhale with them the sky unfolds it's celestial blue for you like a silk gown. You look down at an array of color: mango and citrus trees, a vast green lawn and perfectly manicured garden of flowers bursts with life, a turquoise pool glitters beneath the sun. After your eyes feast on colors and sounds, you delight in a beautiful breakfast spread on the terrace, consisting of fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit, and delicious breads. The hospitality makes you feel like you've never left home, but the newfound hunger you feel to drink in every color, sound, and taste reminds you you're in a new place. A new day has just begun, and a new adventure awaits. What will it be? Climbing the pyramids? Soaking up the culture while wandering around the zocalo for a relaxing afternoon? Marveling at the architecture and cathedrals in Puebla? Discovering handcrafted jewelry and fine silver in Taxco? The possibilities are endless, and this villa is the first step at taking advantage of them! I would recommend this property to anyone, for its ideal location, for its being immaculately maintained, and for the owner's helpfulness and hospitality. Stay here and you will experience a waking dream.
