In terms of accomodation this was my best experience in London to date. The location was even more stunning than the pictures. The listing description was 100% accurate. The rooms were even nicer than the photos since the photos do not always capture the lighting of the rooms and other details. The property was clean and very well maintained and the concierge was very helpful in assisting us. The serenity, the vast selection of restaurants and cafes, the scenery and the close proximity to the tube station made this trip so much more relaxing. The apartment itself is lovely and very spacious. The views are brilliant from both the bedroom and the living room. Katherine was very helpful with all the information she provided and the snacks that she left for us in the refrigerator. We spent 4 nights in the apartment with our two young children and there was ample room for all of us since one of the couches in the living room was a sofabed. Waitrose is literally 2 minutes down the road from the building and a great place to stock up on essentials since you really don't want to get away from St. Katharine's Dock if you are on holiday for relaxation and don't intend to sightsee all day. It is the type of location that one can literally spend full days of their holiday as there is some sightseeing closeby to walk to, great food and drinks and very beautiful scenery. We very much enjoyed Dickens Inn with the children and the Indian restaurant adjacent thereto. I have used Home Away from Home and VRBO several times over the years and I believe this was my best experience so far. Thank you again for a lovely holiday.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you so much for your lovely review . Im so glad we made the exception for the children and you managed to fit comfortably . Your review will be so helpful especially your comments about St Katharine docks .Thank you Katherine

My daughter and I stayed during Christmas-New Year’s and were thrilled with the flat. The location is super - right beside the Tower Bridge and the Tower of London and a short walk to the Tower Hill tube station. I particularly enjoyed the view of the boats moored at St Katherine Docks from the balcony. This is a very upscale area. The flat lets in lots of natural light, is roomy and is nicely furnished. Even after 9 days were not at all ready leave and hope to have the opportunity to return someday. Communication with the owner was excellent. We have stayed at a number of nice places through VRBO and this is by far the nicest.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

The apartment is immaculate. Everything you need. Owners even leave welcome package in fridge with all basics you need so not necessary to run right out to grocery shop which is nice after long day of travel. Even if you did find the need to run out and grocery shop, Waitrose full service grocery store is 1 block away. Pubs, restaurants, gym, shops, etc all 5 minute walk away. Tower of London, Tower Bridge, etc 5-8 minute walk. Whitechapel, financial district, theater district, limehouse pubs, etc either a easy stroll away or subway quick trip. Tower Hill subway 5 minute walk so just grab an oyster card at a nearby convenience store and get to anywhere quickly and easy. St. Katherine's dock is an amazing area. So quiet, you will never believe you are in heart of London. Apartment is well sized. We were there 45 days and hated to leave.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I've stayed in many apartments during my visits to London over the years, and this is easily the best! The location is wonderful; so peaceful, and yet close to Central London and all it has to offer. Waitrose supermarket is 5 mins walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafeterias in St Kaths. Close to The Tower and Tower Bridge. St Katharine's Dock is the hidden gem of London! Everything in the apartment is in pristine condition and the owner very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We stayed at this beautiful apartment Sept 1st-8th. We enjoyed it so much, we booked for a much longer stay later this year Nov-mid December. The apartment is very spacious, modern, clean, and has everything you need. My wife and I are very particular travelers and this was so much more comfortable than staying in a business hotel. The location is amazing. The apartment has doors that open to a balcony from both the living room and also from the bedroom. The balcony overlooks the dock. Great views and sunlight all day long. Short walk to great pubs, restaurants, full service grocery, cleaners, and countless shops. 5 minute walk to Tower Bridge and the restaurants, shops, pubs, and sightseeing there. Located right next to financial district so if coming to either work or play or both, perfect proximity for both. Lastly, the owners are very professional and very reachable. A welcome package greated us on arrival including milk, eggs, bread, cheese, wine, coffee, etc-very unexpected! Also, our outgoing flight got delayed and the owners quickly let us know we were welcome to stay for a very late check-out as other renters were not due immediately. If you are looking for comfortable luxury with an incredible location in heart of city with extreme tranquility in St. Katherines Docks, book this flat!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
